Second chances are an opportunity to do it better, to make it better and to correct past mistakes. Love how Sam, Dianna and April (Dianna's little sister) went from resentful and bitter about their past to content and grateful for the second chance to get it right this time. Ten years after their breakup Dianna and Sam meet again. Heroe firefighter Sam couldn't walk away from the woman he has always loved, no when she needed his help and protection. As they raced to save April little by little they opened up to each other and for the first time talk without hiding from their truths. This story had everything and the narrator, Ms Kaminsky was once again superb.

This is the first book I've listened to by Bella Andre. I really enjoyed it. I was a little weary because of the publishers introduction. Too many romances start on the premise of a lost love come back around a decade later. It's been done to death. However, it really worked here. The narration was excellent.
The characters are believable and likeable.
I bought it on the 2 books for one credit offer, so yes it was worth the credit.

These hotshot books don't have a lot of depth but they are ok when you just want a light romance with the predictable HEA. I think I liked the first one better. The female character had more spice but again there is nothing wrong with this one

While the narration is as good as the rest of the stories in the series, this story spends too much time going over and over the same remunerations. I skipped a lot of it beginning with the eighth chapter. Don't know if it's worth the credit. Looking forward to the next one.

The 2nd in the series was SO good. It continued in feeling like a realistic story. I know nothing about firefighters and/or hotshots besides what little I've read here, so I cannot critique the authenticity of that portion. However, this story was not so much about the profession as it was about Dianna and Sam's relationship.

The storyline was really believable and hooked me right from the beginning. I did listen to this all in one setting and I am on to book number three.

Of course, while feeling 'real' things like this happen to less than 1% of us in the real world but it is fiction and fantasy and I really enjoyed it.

The narrator was really good though a bit slow. I have a tendency to want to speed up the books which I did with this one (only a little 1.25X DMT) The soothing voices of this narrator would have eased me into sleep. Because the story was so intriguing I wanted to listen to it all in one setting.

Credit worthy/$: Absolutely, but as I've noted before, I'm pretty sure I collected these books through sales over a year, they are reasonably priced. I am a credit cheapskate so it has to be a really long book by someone I really know well to use one. I would save my credit for a more expensive book.

Great Story - As Real As It Gets

This was a completely standard romance novel. Nothing special in my opinion. There wasn't a good "meet que" because the characters had a past. Some of it seemed a little unrealistic and I was especially bogged down with her constant thoughts. I finally had to skip through some of the later parts of the story because I was irritated with the female character. The story is OK but its almost two stories going on at the same time past/present and neither one is really well developed. I'm saddened that this was a feature book on audible and will not make the mistake of assuming something is good just because it's featured!

It keeps getting better! again in book 2 the writer brings everything you love about a alpha Male and the sassy ass chick. Just enough action, sexy scenes and loyalty. Well worth the Credit/money.

Yes, I enjoy most of her books. I also enjoy Eva Kaminsky narration.
