This is not a complete story.
Revisado: 08-03-24
I'm pretty sure this is ai written, and poorly. I don't mind using ai to produce these stories, but it would be nice for it to make sense. It's an incomplete story that doesn't actually have a solid plot. Feel free to listen for a handful of spicy scenes, but there is alot of confusion as to the female characters. I work training ai, so I've seen it before. If you're going to produce something like this, editing is kind of crucial. The idea is kind of hot, but it's criminal to release a story like this without actually reading it first. Come on people.

Even better the third time.

I realize this is probably my favorite Mat Cauthon story, of him going to Ebu Dar and becoming the Queen's "pretty", hilarity ensues. Lots of things come together and new plots begin. I know people whine about the middle books, but that's because they are impatient twits. If you have the guts to make it this far in the series, this book will be a reward for your patience. Only 6 more from here, and I'm beginning to get nervous that the story will soon end and leave me alone.

You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet. And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me....

very good, exciting story. Pseudo French alternate history, with vampires and the bad ass Silver Saints, or Pale bloods, (Day Walkers). Would make a great tv show, animated or otherwise. Dark despairing world with interesting Christian-like religion that weaves into the Vampire lore in a familiar, but completely new way. Its a funny, sexy, action packed , but also emotional and portrays a brutally vivid, bleak, horror filled world that just drags you in.

Its a great book, filled with a flawed characters and their struggles. It was hard to stop listening, even though they take you on the most horrible emotional roller coaster of non-stop war crimes, betrayal, and shattered hopes and dreams. Hopefully the next book has a more satisfying ending or at least Rin gets some satisfying revenge not laced with death and depression.!

SUPER TERRIFIC, BUT...
Revisado: 07-21-20
The book sees Fitz undergo many changes as he returns to Buckkeep with a dying Fool, but back at home the treacherous Servants raid, murder, and pillage withywoods and steal our beloved Bee! The narrator has different voices for everyone, and most are great... except 2 very important exceptions. The fool sounds like an old Yiddish man and Rein Khuprus is a nasally nitwit sounding fellow, which really takes away from the atmosphere of Kelsingra. worth a credit though.
