Good story - horrible delivery.

I will never listen to another book using virtual voice. The story was good, and I stayed with it because I wanted to know who the culprits were. I had to grit my teeth through the narration.

The book was very hard to follow, I had to back it up more than a couple times, to be able to follow the story. I was disappointed in the ending. this book is in the horror section but there's really nothing scary about it.

Can't make it through the book.
Revisado: 10-09-23
When I started listening to this book, I was really engaged. I liked the personal stories, but when I found out why the event happened and that storyline started taking place I lost intrest. I don't want to go into the explaination anymore than what I have so I don't give anything away for the readers who like this sort of story. It's not a bad book, just not my taste.

if we could redo our lives what would we do? I was so engrossed in this story that I felt like I needed to know what happened to the characters. Now that I finished the first book, I won't give it away, but one of the characters from this first book story bleeds over into the second book. I cannot even fathom how this character's psyche can be changed. I'm interested to find out how Shawn deals with this character.

Awful
Revisado: 03-27-23
I could not finish this book. I found the storyline and accent of the main characters horrible. When the book started I was like ok , I will deal with the accent. The story was ok at first - the 2 main characters are planning to kill a demon. I am on chapter 8 and all that is happening is the 2 main characters doing silly spells and fighting with each other. Simply can't finish this.

Missed opportunity to tell a good story.
Revisado: 10-07-22
It's a shame that the author did not choose to go into details about situations that faced Indian Territory during the time frame of this book. The book would have been really great if the author would have geared more towards and actual historical novel then just a romance novel. This book is a romance novel. The two main characters, misunderstand each other blame each other and then have makeup sex repeatedly. if you want the same old same old boy meets girl they fight they make up then this is a book for you.
