Did he get the brick?
Revisado: 01-26-25
I loved this story and I thought it was told very good. However I really really want to know was he able to get the brick even though she already has one?

Wonderful book
Revisado: 01-15-25
This book is fantastic. I love how it takes a normal family from what we all call a normal life just getting by from day to day. Then you then it can’t get and worse & it does. Okay wait it’s like they took a normal family and they dropped down even further than what she already felt then also of a sudden it was like life did a 360 cause then they are rich and a celebrity. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I really like this book.

Historia
A peaceful summer night is shattered by gunfire as an unseen assailant tries to murder police officer John Busby. Though horribly wounded, Busby survives. But the perpetrator remains at large, meaning neither Busby, nor his wife, nor their three children are safe. In separate chapters John and his daughter, Cylin, who was nine at the time, recount the story of that year. John writes graphically, and movingly, of his wounds, his pain, his multiple surgeries, and his rage.

Wow
Revisado: 01-04-25
This was my first book I got to listen to on Audible and with a female and male reading it. This book itself was very much a heart tugger. I don’t normally read books that this but my son suggested it because he had to read it for school but was unable to finish it so I went ahead and got it. For the girl to be able to remember all those details after this many years is just remarkable. I hope that with you sharing your families story that maybe you can get some justice and some closure.
