***USA TODAY BESTSELLER AUTHOR*** When famous sex talk radio host Poppy Bailey returns home to Hudson Hollow, Kentucky, she planned on taking a little rest and getting out of town after her big melt down and on-air fiasco. But it seems that things have changed on the home front: her grandfather has dementia, their family farm house is on the market, and her high school sweetheart Brett Barrett, still looking as hot as ever, is the last thing she needs to complicate her life, especially since the ink on her divorce papers is still wet. No matter how much Poppy and Brett try to stay away from...

I disliked Ai voice but like the story
Revisado: 08-10-24
I disliked the AI voice. It was flat, I couldn’t tell the difference between characters. There definitely wasn’t emotion , it just droned on. The story was good but I thought if there was a human telling this story how much better it would have been. I gave the story 5 stars because I would like this story to be retold with a human. I would listen to it again.

Historia
Not only do Southerners talk slowly, but sometimes the whole language is hard to understand. No one realizes that more than Memphis belle Leelee Satterfield. Watching her tackle life and love in Vermont was only the tip of the iceberg when it came to antics, charades, mischief, and romance. Now that she’s back in Memphis, and starting a new relationship with Peter, the Yankee chef from her New England inn, you’d think she’d sit back and enjoy her newly crafted life back home in Dixie. But that just wouldn’t be as much fun.

Hard to listen to the story
Revisado: 01-28-22
I’ve enjoyed all the previous books by this author. However, this story is ruined by the narrator. I had to stop, I couldn’t listen another moment. The accent for the northern character was awful. It was between a lisp and a slow drawl. I wish the previous narrator was used.
