This book brilliantly combines various mythical creatures. The author skillfully delves into the characters, staying true to their personalities. The captivating storyline completely drew me in. However, I did find the main female character's aggression a bit overboard at times. Nonetheless, this just made her feel more realistic, as I've encountered similar traits in real life.

Solid plot but laking character

I really enjoyed the plot of this story and the potential it had. However, I felt that the characters weren't developed enough, which made it feel like there were big gaps in the story. I understood the idea of the special mate and the process of falling in love, as well as the conflict when fate takes an unexpected turn and you find yourself resisting and acting a bit rude. But when it came to the characters' process of getting there, I felt that it needed to be shown rather than them just saying its fine.

The story line of the book was quite impressive, and I appreciate the effort put into it. However, the level of rough play portrayed in the book is not to my personal taste. Nevertheless, I didn't reduce the stars for that. The character development outside of the main couple could be improved. For instance, I was curious about Sara and wanted her role connected to the storys main character in a deeper way. Similarly, the character of his friends could be depicted more clearly, and I think it would have made more sense if their friendship was better established. Despite these peccadillos, I finished the book since I was intrigued by the plot. The world-building and character potential were among the highlights that kept me engaged.

I really enjoyed the theme and character arcs in this book. The relationship between the characters was developed nicely and I appreciated the strength of the characters.
