Sometimes you just want someone to get to the point without making you feel broken. This book did exactly that. I liked that it wasn’t filled with cliches or overly polished language. Everything is so easy to understand. If you feel mentally drained, give this a listen. I recommend it without hesitation.

I’m a gamer, and before reading this book, I used games to escape responsibilities. Now I use them as timed rewards after short bursts of productivity, just like the book suggests. It’s weird, but I’m getting more done and still enjoying my downtime guilt-free. I even started finishing side quests in real life!

What an interesting book! While it covers many areas of how fear can hold back our lives, I really benefitted by the focus on personal confidence and not second guessing decisions. The author focuses on building your own confidence. I’ve always second-guessed my decisions, so the exercises in this guide haver challenged me in a positive way. It doesn’t just talk about courage—it shows you how to build it, day by day, even when you're scared. I found this a very uplifting book.
