Sean Morrison, one of six siblings and the top college baseball player in the country, is reeling from a heartbreakingly painful loss. Nothing seems to matter anymore...until the night Serena Britten unexpectedly ends up in his arms.

Serena is a world-famous model who has only ever wanted to be normal, even though her mother has always pushed her to become a superstar. Though it isn't easy to try to leave everyone and everything she knows behind, Serena is determined to enroll in college. More than anything, she wants to turn her love for books into a new career that she actually loves. Only, she never expected to meet someone like Sean on campus--or to be instantly consumed by their incredible chemistry and connection.

But when the pressures of her high-profile modeling career only get bigger and more demanding, will it make living a normal life as a college student--and falling in love with the hottest guy on campus--impossible?

One of my faves by Bella Andre

I normally don’t read much YA, but Bella Andre is special, and so are Sean and Serena. I first read this on my kindle but when I saw it was available on Audible I had to buy that also! ***SPOILER*** The only thing I didn’t like was the Epilogue —- it wasn’t about Sean and Serena! It was about Sean’s brother, Drew:(((. (The next book, apparently) I would have loved to read what Sean and Serena are up to down the road. Not sure if I’ll buy Drew’s story —— I really don’t like rockstar romances.

Another winner!

Second chances are always a fun listen! When your world as a model is tumbling you down that Hollywood hill, and you have a chance to hit the breaks...what do you do?!? Well you turn into the library of course!

This is a cute story tied to the Sullivans series in a round about way and totally worth the listen.

Imagine, a model is famous but not wanting to continue necessarily in the direction her strong willed mother is leading her; so, she takes the opportunity to attend a "trial" semester at Stanford....of course....and hiding in the library, trying to do well, until she decides to venture out into a "real" college night party. While attempting to see what it's all about, of course she is spotted by hottest baseball player on campus, who at the moment is fighting his own demons of sorrow and has no clue who she is....well there's troubled pasts on both sides, secrets fought to remain hidden, feelings are shared, creepy professor tries to tip the scales and Oh....the famous Sullivan movie actor/producer calls and says hey...movie is back on, can you be here next week? What to do....what to do?
Great listen-as always, love Bella Andre & I can't wait for the next!

Not bad but not great

Overall it was good but I don't think I will be rushing to get the next one. It really had no surprises and the narrator did not do good male voices.

A Sweet Love Story

Bella has a wonderful way of weaving a story that draws you into the characters and the falling in love that the couple experiences. I loved this story.

First year in college is full of hot guys

Store Lloyd based on a college campus with college parties was typically guys and girls dancing and meeting each other. My favorite part is how it took The two main characters to finally talk to each other. The book it's in depth on who the mail main character has personality, and also the female lead character her personnelity. The book was well written there was some erotic portions of the book. I enjoyed it very much.

Ummm No.

It’s hard to take a book seriously that is written about a young woman and narrated by someone who sounds like Sarah Palin.

Simple but beautiful love story about coming of age

Very good series and a typical Bella Andre quality story about Selena, a super model/aspiring actress who decides to follow her dreams and give up her career to enter college, at the protests of her tyrannical Mom/manager, “Monager” She promptly meets the love of her life, but needs to get over her mom’s teaching that all men are manipulative scums, to recognize him. Good story. I would highly recommend.

A real disappointment

I really loved the Sullivan series, so I thought I'd try this book. It didn't take long to realize that I should have paid attention to the description "new-adult" series.

New-adult is obviously the new industry term for "young adult" (meaning late teens, early 20's).

New adult (notice no hyphen) means a new series suitable for adults.

This story took bits and pieces of all The Sullivan books and watered them down for a young adult readership. The characters in the Morrison family are similar to the Sullivans, so I imagine that the future installments of this series will just be more watered down Sullivan wannabes.

I won't be buying anymore books in this series even though I like Bella Andre.

On a final note, Eva Kaminsky does a really good job as always.
