Jonathan and Barbara Rose are the perfect couple, living the dream in their beautiful house, filled with their precious antiques, their darling children and their prized Ferrari in the garage. But things then take an unexpected and shocking course.

Little more than a child herself, Josh's ever-sympathetic and overstuffed sister, Evie, lavishes her "food is love" obsession on her beloved niece and nephew, who are coping with their own sense of loss.
