Abandoned on Niflheim

After fleeing from her ex, with a suitcase and $52 to her name, Tracy is trying to rebuild her life in sunny San Diego. She got a job as a host and slowly started making friends, healing and learning to trust again. The unthinkable happens on the night all the girls convince her to go out on the town. The lights go out in the club, and Tracy is in the bathroom's darkness.

I'm the next in line for Fyrifirar Tribe Jarl, a skilled warrior, and definitely not good at chopping down trees. But I can't stop thinking about the tiny human female who we'd found near our village with eleven other human females. She's so small, barely larger than an orkin child, and so lovely I can't get her out of my mind. And then I went and nearly killed her while felling a tree to distract myself. Yet somehow, she still ended up in my arms.

Having accepted my fate as Agnarr's mate, I'm thrust into Niflheim's tribal politics. Agnarr and I will become the new jarl and jarlin, as Astrid is eager to step down. But the arrival of twelve human women adds complexity. Some elders readily accept us, while others hold prejudiced views, seeing humans as weak and useless. Between this and the insatiable mating frenzy Agnarr and I still find ourselves in, it's all I can do to keep my head above water. I must lean on my fellow humans and mate to navigate this new life.

Steve is the only half-orc of his tribe, isolated up in the mountains of Niflheim. With his parents passing, he feels adrift and uncertain of his future in the tribe. He ventures to the other orkin tribes to understand who he is and what he wants for his future. There are human women out there, and he hopes meeting them might help him understand his origins.
