That's right. I said it.

I know - it sounds stupid to me also. I'm a psychologist (sort of), so you'd think I'd be able to reason my way out of this mess. Except the reality is that I've been abducted to become their breeder, and it doesn't take an advanced degree to recognize this is all sorts of jacked up.

But I digress.

Apparently, these aliens are on the brink of extinction and need me and my fellow captives to repopulate. Yay us. I guess it's time to figure out an escape plan before they knock me up. I'll be back later.

This book was funny; the private thoughts and banter between Lia and Varek was great. The narrator did a good job with characters. Storyline was typical of many paranormal romances. On to the next book!

Although these are fun stories ,but the language is to foul . I would've enjoy a more serious group of characters. I will say if you want just a quick read or listen , it passes the time.

More a teen story

Women are kidnapped from Earth and mating bonds snap into place for a few. It’s a little Stockholm, but a great listen. Aliens who repressed emotions are showing a more vulnerable side. Women who were scared have great sex and a mate fall in love. 18+

I'm not a fan of books about submissive whiny women, but I believe the best friend's will probably be my type of protagonist.

I'm always on the lookout for books/series like this - short, sexy, and action packed. This book hits all those notes and more. I decided to try it out after listening to the 2nd Hearts of Stone book which had a tie in of characters and I was not disappointed.

There is a lot of awareness/perceptiveness in the characters which can come off as a bit unbelievable, but given the FMC and friends age and education (and modern times), I think it works. Plus it moves the story along without unnecessary drama or exposition.

I like Jessica Schly as the narrator. I think she did a good job of keeping the characters separate from each other and acting out the scenes without going overboard.

If you do listen to this book and find it just ok, I would encourage you to listen to book 2 in the series before passing judgement. Book 2 is Morgan's story and it was so very entertaining from beginning to end.

There’s some reviews that aren’t happy with the narration of this book. I found nothing wrong with it at all. I’ve listened to many that were so much worse. The book itself was pretty good, it was as most sci-fi romance books go. Sexy parts were very good, but not erotic. Could have been more towards erotic and it wouldn’t bother me. So, if this is the type of book you like, it has all the bells and buzzers. A short sweet happy ever after.

I was totally expecting to be let down by the storyline and character development, but this book actually did a very good job in a few short hours. It's definitely better than a lot of other short romances I've listened to. I've already bought the second book in the series and I'm genuinely excited to find out how the story continues. Well done.

I’m new to these alien breeder romance stories, but it gives me a opportunity to read something different in the romance genre. This was an interesting story, and I will probably read more of the series.
