    We finally succeeded in getting Northwestern Assistant Coaches, Jennie Clark and Morgan Ruhl on the pod!

    Get to know two of the best and brightest young coaches on the planet. You will hear their Northwestern origin stories, what makes them tick, their favorite parts of coaching, pet peeves, advice for young players heading into college and so much more!

    Jennie is from Iowa, played at the University of Minnesota and then played professionally in the WPS and in Germany. Morgan is from Maryland, played at LSU and now calls Chicago home. You will want to listen is as the talk about their journeys that brought them to Evanston.

    Of course we also laugh, talk about food and have a great Lightning Round. And you might hear about Morgan's lovable dog, Peaux.

    The fall season for Northwestern Soccer seems SO FAR away. But we are busy at work. What does the entail?

    We brought in Sophomore defender Maddie Finnerty and 1st Year forward Kennedy (Kenna) Roesch to talk about what their routines look like from January through June as they prepare for the Fall 2025 season.

    Co-host Brooke Miller will lead a discussion of things like...physical workouts, skills tests, spring games, team building, time management and all things getting ready.

    Whiskers is Back!

    Join Brooke Miller and Rich Manning as we continue our inside look into the Northwestern Women's Soccer team.

    Season 2 starts with a rousing round table focusing on our Big 'Cats Little 'Cats program. We pair up our incoming players with a veteran before they arrive to help them get to know the team and to help them navigate...well, basically everything! These relationships tend to last a long time!

    Brooke is joined by her Little 'Cat, Kate Hennen. And we also have Reiley Fitzpatrick and her Little 'Cat Ava Goodin...as well as Ramira Ambrose and her Little 'Cat Mary Stroebel.

    And, of course, the exciting Lightning Round is back too!

    It's the last day of Spring practice...finals are upon us and summer is so close! Join co-host Brooke Miller and Coach Rich Manning as they welcome first-year MF Sarah O'Donnell and sophomore GK Reiley Fitzpatrick.

    Sarah and Reiley are both coming back from long-term injuries and have a lot to share about the tribulations and triumphs of being away from soccer and the road to get back on the field. They talk about the hardest parts, the helping hands, the big moments and the ultimate reward. They also share some tips about things they learned along the way.

    Co-Hosts Brooke Miller and Coach Rich Manning explore "Connections" and how Northwestern University and Athletics are preparing athletes to make those next steps in their sport, career and life while they are in school.

    We are joined by an award-winning group of 5th-year Danika (Dani) Austin, Senior Nicole Doucette and Junior GG Grust. They discuss some of their incredible experiences in business, sports and communication as well as some of their future plans. And they talk about some important role models and mentors they have encountered.

    NU for Life is an award-winning program for Northwestern athletes and we go into depth here. Dani is now working for NU for Life as she finishes up her graduate degree. She will head off to a job with the Haslam Sports Group in July (Cleveland Browns, Columbus Crew).

    The players discuss how they won I-MAP and Kabiller award grants to explore some fantastic experiences. Here's to the road ahead!
