This covers some of the origins of Ball culture in the 1960s, the events of the Stonewall riot, and how the HIV/AIDS epidemic devistated the queer community. Some of this may be common knowledge for our older queer and gay folks out there, but it is so important to know that so much of our history is not taught to us and is actively hidden from us. Can you say "Colonial Genocide"? That's not something that United States has ever been historically or even currently involved with through its own Imperialist actions and those of its allies. Because of that, they are incredibly appalled that is about to happen to a people that we are great friends with. Such great friends that we have never seen them before on the show. This whole episode could have been resolved in about 5 minutes if like two people talked, but the same could be said about a lot of things, especially heterosexual relationship drama.
