  • Will Mike Woodson Coach Against Michigan? Pacers Beat Clippers!

    (00:00-25:50) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the big three topics from last night. Jake starts the show by congratulating the Pacers on overcoming a 22-point deficit against the Clippers and the NFL Honors from last night. The biggest topic of conversation in the opening segment was the announcement that Mike Woodson’s future with Indiana is officially done, but when is still to be determined.

    (25:50-37:08) – FanDuel Sports Network’s Chris Denari joins Jake Query from Los Angeles to explain what went wrong in the first quarter for the Pacers that they corrected in the second quarter. Also, Chris provides an update on how Myles Turner looked in the locker room after the game and applauds Bennedict Mathurin for being a creator last night instead of trying to be a scorer.

    (37:08-46:03) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake discussing the men that were enshrined into the NFL Hall of Fame last night. He explains the Hall of Fame process, shares a story that Mike Chappell shared about Peyton Manning’s candidacy when he was up for enshrinement, and Eli Manning’s candidacy.

    (46:03-1:11:43) – Bob Kravitz kicks off the second hour of the program with Jake Query discussing Mike Woodson’s fallout from the departure of Dane Fife and Thad Matta. Bob admits who he would like Indiana to target to replace Mike Woodson at the end of the season, states that he was more surprised with Adam Vinatieri not being enshrined last night than Reggie Wayne and looks at the guys that are eligible next season in relation to the chances of Reggie or Adam making it next year.

    (1:11:43-1:22:20) – Last night the Indiana Pacers overcame a 22-point deficit to defeat the LA Clippers behind Pascal Siakam’s brilliance. Jake and Eddie discuss his performance and how Bennedict Mathurin played one of his more complete games down the stretch when the team needed it.

    (1:22:20-1:34:01) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie giving away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Dispatch at Everwise Amphitheatre at the White River State Park this summer by answering a show trivia question!

    (1:34:01-2:00:04) – The Fan Morning Show’s Kevin Bowen joins Jake Query to reveal who the Kevin Bowen coaching list would be if Scott Dolson called him asking for his opinion and admits that he hopes IU doesn’t poach Micah Shrewsberry from Notre Dame. Additionally, KB explains the Hall of Fame voting process, looks down the road as to how early Reggie Wayne will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and weighs in on the debate earlier in the week regarding which school corporations Peyton Manning’s son would attend if he lived in Indiana.

Jake focuses on both team’s inability to get their best players, Oumar Ballo and Tyrese Haliburton, involved. Additionally, Jake applauds Braden Smith for carrying Purdue when the team needed it after Trey Kaufman-Renn got in foul trouble in the first half.

    (26:05-37:48) – James Boyd from The Athletic joins Query & Company to share his predictions for the guys that will make the NFL Hall of Fame tonight, evaluates if it makes sense for the Colts to make a trade for Myles Garrett, assesses if the Colts are starting to become forgotten about by free agents as a place to play, and examines whether the Colts are going to shift their style of play to lead to a better season.

    (37:48-48:14) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie sharing their thoughts on the Super Bowl. They go through some of the exotic props that are being offered for the big game.

    (1:12:17-1:23:54) – There has been a lot of speculation and whispers on social media stating that Mike Woodson could be out as IU’s coach as early as today. Jake tries to track down the credibility of some of the whispers and admits that it would have to take an Elite Eight run just to reconsider Woodson’s future.

    (1:23:54-1:35:15) – Hour number two concludes with Jake addressing Eddie’s question from the previous segment about the message it will send Dusty May if IU fans boo Mike Woodson when he is introduced on Saturday’s game against Michigan.

    (1:35:15-1:59:53) – The Athletic’s Zak Keefer joins Jake Query to debate if Reggie Wayne and Adam Vinatieri will both be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame tonight.
