  • Opening weekend is finally upon us for college baseball season, so Preston is joined by Greg Madia from the Daily Progress and Monty Taylor from College Baseball Central for a deep-dive season preview into UVA baseball.

    The last time the guys were altogether was at the College World Series, so they discuss if it is Omaha-plus or bust for a talented and experienced Virginia team this season. Then they pick through the Cavaliers' schedule to pick out some intriguing ACC weekends and talk about one of the more challenging non-conference schedule for UVA in a few years.

    Later Preston, Greg and Monty walk through the UVA lineup position-by-position to see who will start and the most likely order for a dangerous Virginia offense. Then they shift their focus to the pitching staff with a few roles up for grabs and a lot of candidates. Finally, they give their preseason predictions for stat leaders, MVPs and how far will the Cavaliers go this year.
