About this listen
When Francine's a little girl, she'll do just about anything for her papa. But as Francine grows older, she and Papa start fighting about everything - school, fiddling, and boys. Then the others come calling, fairies from no tale Francine has ever read. They ask her to come fiddle at their court, promising magic and all the music she wants. Francine gladly goes with them.
When war starts between the two Creole fairy courts, the Seelie and the Unseelie, Francine finds she's fighting her papa again. Can Francine and her papa lay aside their differences? Or will they keep fighting until beauty and kindness is drained out of all the worlds?

She alone has the magical power to prevent the spirits from destroying every man, woman, and child. Murdered contortionists aren't exactly what Vivienne signed up for when she ran away to join the circus. But like most things under the big top, nothing is what it seems. With a past she can't quite remember, Vivienne finds that running away forever might not be as appealing as it once sounded - because forever means something quite different at the Cirque des Immortels.

I don't know, I couldn't really focus on this story, it was bits and pieces of the storyline, that kind of reelled me back in and caught my attention. The narrator was amazing. I loved the narration, but I think that this storyline is for children, more so than adults, maybe back in my high school days, I would have been a little bit more interested, I just couldn't focus on this storyline, sorry, 3 stars. Ah.🙁➕🤦🏾♀️💯

The story was a good story, but that narration. I was soooo annoyed by the attempted souther/creole accent. The narrator ruined it for me.

Kinda Boring
I found this story a little boring. I think it’s because the main character was just lacking. She can off annoying and unreasonable. Robin Miles did well enough for the material, I generally love anything she reads so it was a bit if a let down not loving this book.
