Attention Deficit Disorder, the most common learning and behavioral problem among children, also affects millions of adult Americans, more of which are being diagnosed with this potentially disabling condition every day.
Now Kate Kelly, a clinical psychiatric nurse, and Peggy Ramundo, a specialist in learning disorders -- both of whom were diagnosed with ADD after discovering it in their children -- bring together their considerable personal and professional experiences to create the essential guide to identifying, understanding, and managing the dynamics of ADD in adults.

Would you consider the audio edition of You Mean I'm Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy? to be better than the print version?
I wish I would have had this information when I was a kid. Nobody knew what ADD was when I was a kid. Life was a struggle for me growing up because of it. I didn't find out I had it until my 40's. It's easy to judge someone with ADD as being lazy when the problem is that they are overwhelmed. Or stupid when the problem is, they have no control over their attention span and probably missed what was being explained to them. Now I know why I have a hard time focusing and why sometimes I'm so focused that I can't hear what's going on around me. I know why sometimes I miss the mark socially because I say things that probably should have been left unsaid. I think I have a handle on it now better than I did as a child because I've done the research. But this is a great learning tool if you know someone with ADD or think you might have it yourself.Good Information for Us ADDers!
