Max Remus couldn't care less about finding his mate—unlike the rest of his fate-obsessed pack. Without an academic endorsement to make him valuable to the high fey, Saffron will be sent back through the veil to the human world. The place he was traded from as a changeling-baby, and a place he is terrified of. And while getting an endorsement shouldn't be impossible, it's hindered by the fact his literacy is self-taught, using books stolen off of Morrígan Academy's campus of high fey students.

Publisher's summary
"Narrator Kirt Graves strikes just the right notes in this thoughtful exploration of grief, life, and the afterlife" —AudioFile on Under The Whispering Door
The Bennett family has a secret:
They're not just a family, they're a pack.
Wolfsong is Ox Matheson's story.
Oxnard Matheson was twelve when his father taught him a lesson: Ox wasn’t worth anything and people would never understand him. Then his father left.
Ox was sixteen when the energetic Bennett family moved in next door, harboring a secret that would change him forever. The Bennetts are shapeshifters. They can transform into wolves at will. Drawn to their magic, loyalty, and enduring friendships, Ox feels a gulf between this extraordinary new world and the quiet life he’s known, but he finds an ally in Joe, the youngest Bennett boy.
Ox was twenty-three when murder came to town and tore a hole in his heart. Violence flared, tragedy split the pack, and Joe left town, leaving Ox behind. Three years later, the boy is back. Except now he’s a man—charming, handsome, but haunted—and Ox can no longer ignore the song that howls between them.
The beloved fantasy romance sensation by New York Times bestselling author TJ Klune, about love, loyalty, betrayal, and family.
The Green Creek Series is for adult listeners.
A Macmillan Audio production from Tor Books.
Critic reviews
"Fans will be delighted."—Publishers Weekly
"An exciting start to the [Green Creek] series."—Library Journal
"It's a flawless book and shows that you can take the fantastic and make it so very human. I thought the supernatural would be what grabbed me but instead it's Ox's humanity and humility and loyalty. I hope there will be more. Wildly recommended."—Mary Calmes

Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. In a strange little home built into the branches of a grove of trees, live three robots—fatherly inventor android Giovanni Lawson, a pleasantly sadistic nurse machine, and a small vacuum desperate for love and attention. Victor Lawson, a human, lives there too. They’re a family, hidden and safe. The day Vic salvages and repairs an unfamiliar android labelled “HAP,” he learns of a shared dark past between Hap and Gio–a past spent hunting humans. All Luis Gonzalez wants is to go to prom with his boyfriend, something his 'progressive' school still doesn’t allow. Not after what happened with Chaz Wilson. But that was ages ago, when Luis’ parents were in high school; it would never happen today, right? He’s determined to find a way to give his LGBTQ friends the respect they deserve (while also not risking his chance to be prom king, just saying). When a hit on the head knocks him back in time to 1985 and he meets the doomed young Chaz himself, Luis concocts a new plan - he’s going to give this guy his first real kiss.

They may be wolves, but they're all too human.
TJ Klune seems to bounce between tones like a game of hopscotch. Each new book, or series of books, is curious and exploratory without sacrificing quality or consistency. It's a risk, but Klune approaches all his writing sincerely and with the same high standard I've come to trust from him. Most importantly, Klune's storytelling is always surprising. There may be some books I prefer more than others, but I'm never bored. This book is no different, but there is a particularly human vulnerability that resonates with me. I identify with each character's hubris and hamartias, so much so that it can be difficult to keep reading in the best way possible. None of Klune's characters are ever flawless representations of idyllic heroes or heroines. They are insecure, impulsive, and prone to screw up as often as the rest of us do. Maybe more. They make me cringe and smile, feel frustrated and validated. I am with them for the journey and care where it will end. This story has so much more depth than I would expect from the genre, and I'm grateful I took the time to listen. The vocal artist confused me at first. I'm used to crisp, energetic performances and this is anything but. The tone is soft, a little lagging, and largely understated. By the second chapter, I realized how perfect it was for this story. It felt authentic to the world and our narrator's sense of self. It grew as he did from start to finish in a subtle way that never drew attention away from the story. All in all, I felt the entire listening experience was wonderfully done and I'll enjoy hearing it again the next time I want to revisit Green Creek.

Epic romantic queer werewolves
I thought this was a great book. The characters were interesting, I enjoy the writing style. It felt a little different than other TJ Klune books I’ve read, and while I liked those also, this had a distinct voice. I
This genre is a deviation from my normal historical fiction, female lead, female author picks but that’s why I chose it. It didn’t disappoint.

Worth the wait
After seeing this books reviews online for months I finally chose to get it, and I was not disappointed. The story is thrilling and intense, brutal and beautiful so much spoke to deep parts of me. I found myself at the edge of my seat for many reasons, many times quietly screaming at Ox. Wishing I was him, and it all brought me to tears. I hope and pray for more of Ox and Joe in the future. Please god let there be more of them.
