Publisher's summary

Divina Langley-Kemp is fed up with the pompous, overbearing men in her life. From her father to her ex-husband, she's beyond over their arrogance and high-handedness. All she wants is peace and quiet to live her life on her own terms. Instead, she gets Grant Easton, a drop-dead gorgeous blast from the past who's more trouble than her ex-husband and father combined.

Grant Easton finally has the Langley family in the palm of his hand. His long-awaited revenge of crushing them financially and ruining their prestigious reputation will soon come to fruition. Can anything stop the unscrupulous mogul from exacting his revenge?

Only having the beautiful and elusive Divina Langley-Kemp in his bed.

Grant drives Divina insane and infuriates her to no end, but more than anything, he makes her feel vibrantly alive. She's a stubborn hellion, unwilling to bend an inch and defying Grant at every turn. With an unassuming smile Divina can bring him to his knees, making her his ultimate weakness.

They have a bittersweet and tumultuous history that neither can forget. Will love be enough to overcome the sins of the past once and for all?

Contains mature themes.

Love it

So happy to catch up with the Kismet Cove characters and to see happy conclusions to heartbreaking and nasty situations. Nice as well to have an appearance from 2 of the Whiskey Row characters! Kudos to Mari and Leon for lending their narrative skills to help bring this story to life by audio. D A Young is an excellent story teller who writes 3 dimensional characters with heart and grit.

Grant and Divina

The beginning of this story had 100 % of my attention, but it kind of lost me in the end. They were young and forced to make adult decisions which affected their choices. Divination took the brunt of the blame, but I can’t say she was to blame. She made a decision that was made to protect Grant. It felt like sides were taken between the friends and although they accepted her back in the fold they felt she hurt him before she’ll do it again

Very Good

The audiobook was just as good as the actual book. The narrators did a good job portraying Grant and Davina.

Insta love that last

It may have started as insta love but these two lovers find their road to happily ever after to be long and bumpy. The story is filled with messy relatives, tragedy but love and good friends through it all.
Transitions to refer to other characters storylines were sometimes abrupt and confusing. For that reason I gave it a 4. I felt it was somewhat mislabeled as a stand-alone because it probably would help to have more backstory on other characters. Good story though.

AWESOME

Great story, great transitions. I love how she brings the other 3 series into this one. I love how she continues to tell this huge story through the various series. Very smart and intelligent writer.
