Storyline with great buildup and character development. The narrators intonation, cadence and pitch just carry along so beautifully. I listened to this in a matter of 24 hours. I created free moments just to get another chapter or two in of listening. This is definitely a feel good vibe book! I am anticipating with enthusiasm part 2 and maybe a part 3 😉.

Although I write romance novels and have one with a cliffhanger I still don’t like cliffhangers 🤣. After the proposal the book really started to drag so I am strongly debating even reading book 2. What I did like was having a book with celibacy that is an authentic romance and not full of gratuitous sex and black erotica. Great work for the first time In reading this author.

Where do I even begin. Wow. This was such a beautiful love story with just the right amount of drama.

I related to this so much because my husband was my long time crush as well and I know the feeling of actually getting together with your dream man 🥰🥰🥰

The effort, patience, and consideration for one another was sooo good! I also loved the fact that the MMC was an R&B singer. So cool hearing about him with his group and working in music.

The exes got on my LAST NERVES and the way it ended🤦🏾‍♀️🙄🫠🥹🙃🤔 my emotions are all over the place!

I NEED to know how this ends. Cause chiiillllleeeeee smh wow.
