Dynamic

I absolutely love this story of Brindle Montgomery and Trace Jericho. They have a dynamic relationship that has been on again off again for years, since teenagers. They truly love another and care for each other deeply, but don’t know to communicate with one another. It’s not till Brindle returns from Paris pregnant with Trace’s baby, they really work on their relationship and their love is finally admitted to each other and Trace becomes the man she always knew was.

Another Great Love Story from Melissa Foster

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. Brindle can't keep her mouth shut. Or maybe she just can't tell the truth. If she had, the fight with Trace wouldn't have happened. But then again, neither would their story have been so good. Their, solid to the core, love is tested. No misunderstanding, just deception. Pride gets in the way. To this end, the listener/reader can't put this story down. From beginning to end, this love affair puzzle pieces fall in to place. Enjoyed this story as I have all the others by Melissa Foster. You know you get a great story if she writes it. The narrators were awesome as well. They brought this story to life.

4.5 Rebel Stars!

I loved this sweet, heartwarming and steamy romance. I have been so excited for Brindle and Trace's story and it was all I hoped for and more! Brindle and Trace have been close friends and on-again off-again lovers since they were young teens. They are both wild, and rebellious, and would fight as passionately as they loved, and they always had each others back. They knew each other better than anyone, but unfortunately they couldn't be honest about their feelings for each other. When Brindle comes home from Paris with a baby bump, Trace is hurt and furious that she would fall for someone else, and they weren't here taking care of her. But he would, whether the baby was his or not. When Trace steps up to the plate, there is no stopping him. He has played by her rules long enough, now he was in charge. I loved how they were friends and lovers for so long but knew it was time to break old childish patterns and learn how to have a mature, forever, loving relationship. They worked hard to be better, no matter how they might stumble along the way. Brindle and Trace were so much fun, and I really loved the swoony gestures that Trace made! Of course their family interactions were priceless as well, especially a few scenes with Brindle's parents that had me laughing out loud.
Narrators Savannah Peachwood, and Brian Pallino are so perfect as Brindle and Trace. Their expressive voices and ability to easily move between fun and flirty to impassioned and poignant is incredible. I love listening to them both and they definitely make this story even better.

great read

I have read all of Melissa's books. I now listen to her audiobooks. I love audiobooks because it lets me listen while I drive. Audio is gread at this time. With now working from home, i get to listen while doing work.
Trace is a sexy cowboy who has had Brindle is a head strung girl. You can not push her into anything. The two have been on and off "friends with benefits". Although, Trace didn't see it that way. Brindle left for Paris, Trace doesn't know why. Upon her return she is with child. At first no one know who the father is. You will love this book. It is a stand-alone with a HEA.

Sweet story

Brindle and Trace have been on again and off again since they were teenagers. They both are stubborn and like to break the rules. In this book they have to fight for each other and learn how to better communicate so they can have a chance for long term love. I really enjoyed this book. This was the first book of the Bradens and Montgomery’s that I have read. I will be looking up some of the other siblings to read their stories.

Loved Trace and Brindle together

Wow! I could not put this book down once I started it. I absolutely loved Trace and Brindle's story. They are perfect together and I loved watching them grow as a couple. It was so nice seeing Trace expressing his thoughts and feelings towards Brindle. I love every character in this series and can't wait for the next book. Savannah Peachwood and Brian Pallino did a wonderful job in the audio version of Wild, Crazy Hearts. They brought the story and characters to life.

Good book!

This book of the series was an okay read for me. At first, I was not a fan of Brindle as a character as I felt she was a bit immature about how she handled her relationship with Trace as well as her impending parenthood. I was happy that in the end she got herself together, took responsibility for her role in her past relationship with Trace and worked on her relationship with him. I also was not in love with Trace as a character at first in that she handled his relationship with Brindle poorly as well but was able to sway my opinion by the end of the book when he too realized that their relationship was not functional and pushed for what he wanted out of the relationship. The pair definitely had chemistry together and their story moved along well. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the other series. The narration by Ms. Peachwood and Mr. Pallino was performed well and was enjoyable to listen to. I feel that they brought the story to life well. I look forward to seeing where this series goes next.

A Wild Right!

Melissa has given us a fantastic story! Brindle and Trace had been lovers at a very young age. Brindle had become a teacher and Trace worked his father’s ranch. Brindle left Trace behind and went to Paris to try to figure out where life was taking her. While there, she discovered she was expecting Trace’s child. When she got back they had fights and lies between them. I loved the touch of humor in it! Savanna Peachwood and Brian Pallino were the perfect narrators for this one. They made me think I was watching a movie.

#teamtrindletrio

Brindle and Trace have been an on again off again couple since their early teenage years now in their mid twenties they are hit with a bit of unexpected news. Well, I guess I should back up a bit and let you know that Brindle decided to go to Paris for six weeks at the end of Trails of Love to clear her head and see where her heart was. She returns with more than just the answer that had always been in her heart.

It's no surprise that I am a huge Melissa Foster fan when you read a book like this, which takes a difficult subject and somehow gives you the HEA you were hoping for. Unplanned pregnancy is not unheard of, even with all the precautions a couple can take. I have to say that I was disappointed with Trace's behavior when he saw Brindle for the first time after returning from Paris with a baby bump, if I was there he would have gotten a backhand up the side of his head. Anyway, he did finally get his head screwed on correctly. Fatherhood has a way of making the immature grow-up.

I enjoyed the whole town rallying around Trace and Brindle with their Instagram shutouts of #teamtrindle, #teamtrindletrio, #teamtrindlecolt, and #teamtrindlefilly it was great to see how everyone pulled for this couple to make it.

I was gifted an ARC of this book but I purchased the Audiobook version and listened to it instead of reading This story pulled me in right away and I didn't want it to end, the narrators did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. I can't say it enough, if you have yet to read one of her books grab one now you'll be sorry you waited this long to be immersed into her world. Each book can be read as a standalone so it doesn't matter where you begin, just begin!

Happy Reading!!!
