Publisher's summary

Who P-p-p-plugged Roger Rabbit? opens with a call from Roger to hard-boiled Private Eye Eddie Valiant. Roger suspects that Jessica is baking her carrot cakes for movie heartthrob Clark Gable. The scandal threatens to rob Roger of the Rhett Butler role in the soon-to-be-filmed Toon musical comedy Gone with the Wind. Investigating Jessica's alleged affair, valiant Eddie finds adultery turning to murder. In no time flat, he's up to his fedora in a nasty web of deceit, intrigue, and Hollywood corruption, including reports from all over of a swindling, cheating, blackmailing...Roger? Something is really p-p-p-popping in Toontown!

Some of the wildest creatures seen in fiction (and real life) abound: Police Sergeant Bulldog Bascomb, a full-blooded hound with razor-sharp teeth sunk into Eddie's case; Heddy, Eddie's sister and possible prime suspect; Kirk Enigman, a very "shadow"-y guy; and Joellyn, Jessica's twin sister, shockingly different in one small way! As if this isn't enough, human luminaries run fast and furious.

Who P-p-p-plugged Roger Rabbit? is a comically brilliant sequel, as unique and original as the first time we saw Roger and Jessica together in Wolf's Who Censored Roger Rabbit?, the book that kicked off the whole Toon craze.

A sequel but it's also not at all.

This is weird one. It's technically a sequel to "Who Censored Roger Rabbit" but it does not take place in the same universe. the tune rules are slightly different, the characters have different personalities and back stories, and so on. This book is more in line with the Disney movie then the first book. I still liked it but not nearly as much as the first book. the changes to the universe actually makes things less interesting.

Great performance, poor quality book

This sequel is far less creative than the original novel and panders to the existence of the movie rather directly, citing it in the book while simultaneously reconning the original novel to a dream. Sorely disappointed in the material although L.J. Ganser's performance is great.

I am very much enjoying the trilogy!

I LOVE Roger RABBIT! Iam very much enjoying the trilogy! more fun than the move! that goes for most saying that tho I must say three books to one movie isn't all that fair but as I listen I catch the parts of the movie in the books...." I'm not bad I'm just drawn that way"

A fun listen

An enjoyable story that does not require a great deal of attention to follow. Great for background noise

another great story in Toontown!

Gary Wolf hadn't lost his touch in the second Toontown novel, this story grabbed me by the long ears and held on till the end keeping me guessing the entire tine!
I found myself dissapointed that this wasn't filmed for a sequel, would have been a great follow up to the movie.
can't wait to read the next one! gonna order myself so hard copies to p-p-p-present in my collection!

A p-p-p-perfect Roger Rabbit tail!

Another great story from the author of “Who killed Roger Rabbit” Eddie & Roger team up again to solve a crime with plenty of Hollywood’s elite. Don’t miss this tale of adventure.

Enjoyed the book

Really enjoyed the book I liked the balance of humor and serious detective story telling. Changing the story from the first book is fine with me I'll be interested to see how it goes going further.

funny and intriguing

if you like Roger Rabbit, you'll like this book. It has a great mixture cartoon style funny and Detective Noir level mystery.

What happened?

The first book, Who Censored Roger Rabbit?, was excellent. This book seems like the author liked the movie and decided to change his world to mirror the movie. It's uninteresting. It's hard to get into. It's just so significantly worse than the first book.
