About this listen

In this novelette, prisoners are used as lab rats in a ruthless series of temporal experiments. Physicists learn that it's possible to pillage and plunder the past without affecting the present, or so it seems. It seems as though there are no consequences to time travel. But one prisoner sees the fallacy of this, because nobody understands consequences like a con. Unfortunately, nobody listens to the lab rats, and so prisoner Daniel "Steak Knife" Hayes must gather a crew, commandeer a time capsule, and launch a desperate mission to save past, present and future, as well as his own sanity.

Wow,i loved it

There are moments to everything. Time travel is no different. As many as I like time travel stories it ever annoys me when people go galavanting within time like going to the limited Walmart. In We Happy Few there are serious results connected with time travel. To hear what they are you'll have to know the story. You will not be dissatisfied. While far-fetched with no reason for history, it was completely changed and amazing.

Intertaining

The story revolves around a group of convicts who are promised freedom if they will participate in scientific experiments. They are not told of the dangers involved in these experiments. The convicts are sent through time and each evolution of experiments becomes more dangerous. After it becomes evident that the theories involving time have not been correct and that the company intends to kill all the inmates they rebel and become a group going through time trying to correct the problems caused by the company.

The narration of this book was good. The story held your attention throughout.

This books is so good.

This book is so good, better than the movie of course. I enjoy that very much.

A thought provoking story

First to get it out of the way, I was given this free copy at my request and leave this review of my own free will.
That being said I found this story very compelling despite it’s short length. The author has skillfully crafted a story with a strong moral choice and consequences.
I highly recommended that this story is avoided by younger listeners. Its theme and graphic violence makes this for a more mature audience.
I will say that I found that once I started it, I didn’t want to leave it until I had finished it. I look forward to seeing more from Seth Chambers.

Interesting take on time travel

This was not what I expected, but it was different and interesting. It turns a lot of the ideas about time travel on their head. I really enjoyed the different take.

At my request, I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
