About this listen

The endgame has begun. Who will win?

Those who seek to rid the planet of the alien infestation have produced a counter agent that could turn the tide, while others who have accepted the new paradigm hope to live in peace.

Two competing sides now begin their final dance, and Cassie is drawn right in the middle of this conflict. The ultimate fate of humanity hangs in the balance, and her actions will be the deciding factor.

The story is everything

The synth “virtual voice” component of the story nearly caused me to completely ditch the Audible version and just stick with the Kindle version. But I kept slogging away, hoping against hope that it would maybe get better. It didn’t, unfortunately. In this case, it proves the adage true that for most things involving tech, you usually get what you pay for. I don’t think I’ll try another synth voice audiobook again, at least for a while.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
