This is Exceptionally Well Done!!!!!

I have listened to and read many different kinds of books on the development of the self... This audio/book is by far my FAVORITE and I will listen over and over again until all of what Lisa speaks about becomes 2nd nature... I have never found one book to speak so well about how we as individuals interact with the world around us and how we through our thoughts and interactions can change our lives AND so completely!! 5 STARS!!!! Thank You Lisa!! I wish I knew her (Lisa Oz) as she has such a funny truthful humor!!

I had wanted to love this book

I not sure of the full message that Lisa is trying to give, she comes from an educated and privileged background that most people only dream about, I enjoyed a lot of what she had to say however-most people in the US cannot afford to go outside of mainstream medical health never mind go from doctor to doctor to evenually end up at a naturopathic doctor. Most of us could find the time to do some of the suggested tasks if we did not work 50+ hours a week and clean our own homes.
Most 19 years that are enaging in risky behavior and steal cars end up in jail not give training by a surgeon and a salary of over $100,000.00 to stop. Lisa background enables her to have full connections to A listers and the top medical doctors.
I do applause Lisa and her husband for their work in understanding medical diseases and prevention.
The book is great if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

Tells it like it is.

Lisa tells it like it is, which may not be the way we may like to hear it but..... She has a gentle and yet convincing way to try it even if you at first would be saying to yourself "no way, she's crazy" But I have learn and re-learned many things from her. And she has given me more confidence to explore my relationships.

Awesome! Very inspirational. I am looking at life through a whole new lens. Her voice is calming and she shares stories about herself, mistakes she's made, how she's gone about changing her views, etc... Hearing this helps me realize that we ARE all the same, we come from the same place and none of us are perfect. We all have insecurities and if you'd like to open yourself up to having more intimacy in your life, I definitely recommend this book. She challenges us to take that next step and move through the fear in order to have a better quality of life. She uses analogies that help to visualize certain relationships or situations. She speaks about God and allows us to determine who it is for us (Universe, higher power, etc.) She talks about non-traditional medications and alternative ways to help yourself feel your best. She also talks about sex and whether you're comfortable with it or not, how to make it a part of everyday life with your partner. She talks about relationships with family too. This is an all encompassing book on relationships. Great, great, great!

Fun and Insightful

If you could sum up US: Transforming Ourselves and the Relationships that Matter Most in three words, what would they be?

Time well spent.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! Lisa's voice is friendly and pleasant and she's included just the right balance of humor, drama, insight, and advice. I also purchased a hard copy of the book so I could go through the exercises at my own pace, while continuing listening to the book. She recommends you do only the ones that appeal to you, but they're all interesting.

Any additional comments?

I'd recommend this one to anyone looking for deeper insight into relationships, including the one we have with ourselves.
