Why is this book categorized as horror???

This is a mystery/thriller with psychics, maybe bordering slightly into the sci-fi genre. In no way would I consider this book even remotely horror.
If you like The DJ Slaughter series then you should like James Beltz new Isaiah Black series. In comparison I have to say this series is a bit more gritty and just a tad more grisly. Also, Shawn Milo narrates both series. I really like him as a narrator but he doesn’t do much. He does a really great job and I’m glad to see that he was chosen for this series as well.
So this book begins with the brutal multiple stabbing murder of a young woman in an alley. A new investigator along with his superior partner are assigned the case. It is clear that the older is constantly annoying him by repeatedly calling him Rookie. They will come to blows. Anyway, when Isaiah is asked his opinion he gives a textbook profile of who the perpetrator is. He is totally wrong. It doesn’t take long to find this out.
Isaiah is contacted by a psychic who has a vision. Laster that day she’s murdered. Through his investigation he finds some pretty strange things going on. His life is in danger as well as a few others he gotten know. One of those in danger is a character from the Slaughter series.
This book takes a Twilight Zone-ish turn about midway through. Beltz’s story telling is so good it sounds believable. I was hooked right from the beginning.
For anyone who has never read or listened to a book by this author you will find no F-Bombs or any other curse words for that matter. I notice it but the story still works.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
