About this listen

A group of young drug addicts - led by drug dealer Jared Hatcher - plan to rob the wealthy Cohen family on Halloween to escape their dead-end town outside of Las Vegas. They devise the perfect plan with the perfect victims and the perfect getaway.

But one act of violence quickly leads to another, triggering a chain reaction of never-ending mayhem. Can the desperate trespassers successfully complete their robbery and leave their lives of despair? Or, will the fragile Cohens fight back and save themselves?

Jon Athan, the author of Lovesick and Into the Wolves’ Den, presents a bleak, disturbing, and gory home invasion novel - an unforgettable night of desperation and carnage.

warning.

i am a lover of horror, and a lover of Jon Athans work. I am also a father. this book effected me deeply. The actions described here made me want to scream with rage, vomit and cry all at the same time. I am not a sensitive man. I don't get frazzled easily but this book definitely did it. I wanted to stop a little over half way in but I kept going because I wanted to see what happened. I wasn't satisfied at all with the ending. one of the bad guys got off way too easily. i won't ruin it and say who or why. But even though the story infuriated me I have to give it 4 stars. I have to because the writing was awesome as always and it achieved the goal of any form of art because it got a reaction from me. several reactions. it's not something I would want to relive. but it was very effective in its goals and the descriptions will make you feel as if you are there, even if you don't want to be. if you are a father proceed with caution it will be a bumpy ride.

one of my favorite authors. I love all his books. This one was very dark and disturbing but the story was truly addicting and I can't help it.

An extremely brutal and relentless masterpiece!

I'm a huge fan of Jon Athan. His books are very graphic and he doesn't hold back on the violence. And Trespassers takes it to another level, even by his standards. Once the mayhem starts it never lets up, and when you think the story can't get more brutal Athan turns up the intensity even higher. I felt drained by the end because of how unrelenting and unforgiving the story is.

I HIGHLY recommend this book if you're a fan of extreme horror. This book will not disappoint.

couldn't finish it

I have read before Jon Athan and the stories are interesting disturbing and brutal but this time the antagonist Jordan is the evil psychopath I have ever read, and it's not just his actions is the way the switch flips, by the 13th chapter you will be mentally exhausted and it happens fast. first listen it actually made me ill. the narration is great which make the story so match worse
