She is the Guinea pig and source of all her own methods and theories, and then shares her struggles with others that are just like her… just like me!! Her words are so universal. I love this conversation format that helped me remember the important things about her system. I have loved all her books and this was a neat addition to them.

progress is made one item at a time. a great reminder that even though doing one task at a time (and completing it) may not feel like you are making progress, it is. you don't get the immediate wow factor. you do get to the finish line without overwhelming yourself.

Through buying and listening and reading all Dana’s books, it’s taking me almost a year to really declutter! I have to study and listen to these super wonderful narratives and funny experiences to gain the knowledge of how to cope with “the chronic mess”. I read Marie Kondo and tried to fold my socks to look like a library. What is wrong with miss toy Kondo? Dana speaks to me and I’m beginning to “get it” at last.

I literally think she’s talking directly to me because this is the only author who has actually put me into motion! I AM THE TORTOISE!

I have all three of Dana’s book, and have enjoyed them and use her method of “taking it there now”.
Her newest example of the tortoise and the hare is great, and again, rings true.
If you are open to a different and yet highly effective way to declutter and stay that way, this latest is a must.
