Read by the author.
The phrase “cleanliness is next to godliness” isn’t found in the Bible. Your house can never be good enough to please God—not because you can’t scrub it or declutter hard enough, but because that is never what He was looking for in the first place. Join Dana K. White, author of Decluttering at the Speed of Life, as she works through removing the shame associated with having a messy home and reveling in the grace and love of our Savior.
This book is for you, if no matter how competent you feel in other parts of your life, you still feel overwhelmed and defeated by your messy home. While it’s true that keeping a clean and organized living space can contribute to a sense of peace and well-being, it should never be equated with your worth, moral standing, or what Jesus thinks about you.
Dana K. White, trusted by millions for her no-holds-barred cleaning confessions and practical decluttering method wants to:
- remove any shame or identity crisis associated with disorganization
- help you understand God's love and purposeful design for you that is much bigger than any mess in your house.
Sharing relatable stories, biblical teaching, and practical life application, Dana will help you find a sense of freedom, acceptance, and a deeper understanding of God's love and purpose for you and your house.

Historia
Sorting through a lifetime's worth of accumulated possessions can be a daunting and stressful process that millions of Americans confront every year. The need to downsize often arises at a momentous life change, whether you're an empty nester or retiree selling your family home, a newlywed blending your households, or cleaning out your parents' property after they've moved into assisted living or passed away. Decluttering guru Peter Walsh knows the difficulty of downsizing firsthand.

Historia
In this book, Kevin W. Hector argues that we can understand Christianity as a set of practices designed to transform one’s way of perceiving and being in the world. Hector examines practices that reorient us to God (imitation, corporate singing, eating together, friendship, and like-mindedness), that transform our way of being in the world (prayer, wonder, laughter, lament, and vocation), and that reshape our way of being with others (benevolence, looking for the image of God in others, forgiveness, and activism).

This is the rarest of journeys. It isn't based on more knowledge and data. And that's a good thing. As Disciples of the Internet, we're drowning in an endless sea of information. What we need is to experience more of Jesus and discover how God is our refuge. Nothing is more essential—or has been more opposed. In this five-session video study, John Eldredge, as spiritual father, reveals how to experience the everyday refuge, strength, and wonder available to the friends of Jesus.

We all spend a lot of energy trying to get people to listen to us, and despite our best efforts, we often fail. But what if the secret to influencing others was to demonstrate acceptance? Enter validation—communication where one accepts and sees the validity in another person’s experience. Research on validation shows that it has profound effects, from improving relationships and de-escalating conflicts to increasing one’s influence and self-compassion.

how practical and spiritual truths intersect
I loved seeing your heart for Jesus, and how he's worked in you and also gifted you to teach others. Thank you for for not taking verses out of context and speaking truth. I've always loved your YouTube channel and podcast. I'm admit, I've never read your blog. But I love your no mess decluttering system as it has really been helpful to me.

Fantastic!
Dana hit a home run with this book. It truly is fantastic. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of her books, but this is now my favorite. It's so clear that she loves Jesus and she makes Biblical truth accessible while also profound. She made me laugh (many times) and tear up when I could hear Jesus speaking to me through her words. I will recommend the book to many and will most definitely listen to it again soon! Thanks Dana!

Disappointing not
I am so glad I purchased the audiobook, otherwise I would not have been able to put the book down, which would have served as an excuse not to do the dishes! Not really surprised I was able to complete it in one day because I’m a fan, but yes-surprised at how many tears I had to fight back. In typical Dana fashion, this book is more honest than expected, yet it fleshes out the beauty of the gospel in ways anyone can understand. Thanks again, Dana, for shedding light into “your” people’s souls.
