About this listen

Ever wondered what happened to your first love? Imagine bumping into them 12 years later and realizing you still fancy them rotten. That's exactly what happens to Dig Ryan when he sees Delilah again.

Now imagine you're Nadine. You and Dig have been best friends for 15 years. And you've finally realized that you're in love with him. So when Delilah - who was always your nemesis - returns, you're mad with jealousy and can't help behaving childishly...like phoning Phil just to get your own first love back....

Thirtynothing is a story of ex-boyfriends, ex-girlfriends, and friends dabbling with yesterday when they should really be thinking about today.

Really wonderful characters. Fantastic writing. Very uplifting. Perfect distraction, deeply immersive story. Loved it! One tiny point on ending re 4P last pages- and that’s all I’ll say. Could’ve tied a bow around that IMO. Teeny detail.

One of Lisa Jewell’s BEST! Heartwarming!

What a book! Relatable characters, great plot, sweet ending! Lisa Jewell outdid herself with this one.

Loved it!

Some of the phrasing and themes used in this story may have been acceptable ~25 years ago but I found them kind of offensive.

Did not age well.

A very good story and so well written, you figured it out right away but the twists and turns were a entertaining journey

Relaxing story

Her voice just suites Lisa’s stories so well. I always choose her narrations first. Story is cleanly tied into a bow. I love that Lisa does that. I just don’t like wondering or imagining the characters life after... but that’s just me.

Helen Duff still my fave

loved it, it's a perfect story! maybe because I'm turning 30 this year or maybe because I can relate to Nadine in parts. so glad I found this book.

perfect story!

Some of her stories are simply love stories. This is one of those. Others have better-developed story lines with twists and turns. Overall, I enjoy her books

Entertaining but predictable

Lisa Jewell is great and this is another good story to get lost in. I don’t understand the negative reviews for the narrator. She did a fine job and speaks clear, with a nice tone. Her distinguished vocalization for each character prevents confusion with the dialogue.

Lisa Jewell is the best
