Fast paced, entertaining, with lots of twists

This one’s a doozy. I couldn’t imagine what I’d do if I was in this situation. The lengths they go to in order to get what they want is insane. It starts off right away and doesn’t stop throughout the entire story. Would recommend if you’re looking for a fast paced, mind blowing story that’ll keep you entertained. The narrators do a good job of adding emotion to this story.

Great read

Great story, the male narrator was almost a deal breaker for me because he always raised his voice on every conjunction which quickly got irritating, however the story was gripping enough and I easily finished the whole book in 2 days. Highly recommend, if you can get past the male narrator.

Great story, not really suspenseful

This was a very good story, and very well written. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because it was not as much of a “psychological thriller” as I was hoping it to be. There were not any amazing twists or turns in the story, However, it was a really good story and very interesting idea. I would definitely recommend listening, it is just not the exact type of story I was looking for at the time.

Chilling

I loved every minute of this book. The author was able to capture my attention immediately and weave a story that I couldn’t put down.

Are there really gullible and horrible women like these characters IRL?

***SPOILER ALERT***
The main female character Rebecca is impossible for me to feel bad for, She believes a stranger on the very (the only) first time seeing over her husband, whom she knows and been with for years, without any investigation to see how legit their claim is. She must’ve known his character or at least recognize his demeanor when he’s denying something. Liars no matter how good are easy to spot if you know them personally. The story is predictable and the ending was disappointing. I was hoping for Sam to leave her. The 3 main female characters are beyond gullible (Rebecca) and evil and pathetic (the friend and the woman at the door).

Original but predictable w/spoiler

Storyline was okay although I was able to predict the plot a mile away.

Spoiler: Sam should have left her anyway at the end…

It’s fine.

Didn’t hate it. Didn’t love it. The husband got on my nerves because he makes terrible decisions. But I had the ending wrong m, so that was good.
