Publisher's summary

A knitting shop in Cornwall—what could be more peaceful? Turns out, just about anything!

When Boston-bred witch Jennifer Cunningham agrees to run a knitting and yarn shop in Tregrebi, a fishing village on the Cornwall coast in England, she worries she’ll be bored. Okay, she knows there are vampires living in a former tin mine, but she’s accustomed to vampires. They knit so fast that they make excellent customers and some of them are becoming good friends. Fascinated by the magic and myths in Cornwall, Jennifer’s falling in love with her new home. However, when she’s exploring a rocky beach one morning, she discovers a dead body. The man appears to have fallen from the cliff, but did he really die by accident? Or was he murdered?

The more she discovers, the more Jennifer is convinced there’s a killer on the loose. And, with all the colorful characters she’s meeting, both living and undead, she’s pretty sure one of them is the murderer.

But which one? The all-too-attractive undead pirate? The vagrant artist with a mesmerizing talent? The fellow shop owner who’s a little too helpful?

Join Jennifer and her undead knitting club as they work to catch the killer—before they strike again—in this paranormal cozy mystery. The Vampire Knitting Club: Cornwall is a new series with some familiar characters from the Oxford-set Vampire Knitting Club series.

There’s no blood, gore, or swearing, just good, clean murderous fun. Grab your copy today to join the club.

Great New Series

I am an avid fan of Nancy Warren's Vampire Knitting Club, and this spin-off series set in Cornwall is just a perfect compliment. Jennifer, Lucy's best friend and sister witch, moves from Boston to manage the new knitting shop in Cornwall. While the shop's purpose is to allow Lucy's grandmother the freedom to move around and be seen in public away from her beloved Oxford, Jennifer fully intends to make the Cornwall shop a thriving business. She may have her work cut out for her. Cornwall and Oxford couldn't be more different.

On the other hand, Jennifer may have more in common with Lucy than witchcraft and knitting when she stumbles upon a dead body shortly after arriving. She will see justice done for the deceased even if she has to be the one to find it, with a little help from her friends, new and old.

The new cast of characters is delightful, numerous, and diverse - from vamps to witches to non-magicals - and quite a few have secrets they aren't sharing. Jennifer is running from something or someone in Boston. The mysterious undead pirate is quite the enigma. Then there is the vagrant artist and the witchy book shop owner. With so many male characters, one has to wonder if any will become Jennifer's love interest, but it is very early days yet.

Several beloved characters from the original series make appearances, as well, lending familiarity and great transition for the Cornwall venture.

All in all, this is a very entertaining and promising new series, and I cannot wait for more from Jennifer and the Cornwall contigent.

Great start to a new series!

Fantastic start to a new series with some overlap of characters from the original vampire knitting club that in Oxford. I’m looking forward to spending more time in Cornwall.

Knitting vampires, who knew!

Loved this first book. I can’t wait to read the next one. It went by so fast. I really got interested by the description. Then fascinated by the storyline. Would recommend.

The ultimate crossover of characters! Love it!

The ultimate crossover of characters and series! The Vampire Knitting Club series is expanding from Oxford to Cornwall so this is the first book set in Cornwall. Lucy's best friend Jennifer has come from Boston and is going to help Lucy's grandmother get set up in Cornwall and get a new knitting shop up and running. I love a good crossover and this one is top notch. We have tons of new characters, but we also have appearances from many well-known characters from the other witch series that this author writes. I do recommend reading the Vampire Knitting Club series from the beginning as that will add loads of entertainment as well as backstory to your experience with this book, but it isn't required. This book has a completely different feel to the narration as we have a different main character, but I must say that the narration on this book is quite good as well if you like to listen to audiobooks rather than read. I am so excited for the next book set in Cornwall so we can see how thing progress for Jennifer!

well spun yarn

These characters are strong enough that the visiting characters from the original series so not steal the show. refreshing! I love the connections without it being the same story with a new protagonist name.

Great start to a new series

I love the original Vampire Knitting Club series so was looking forward to this spin off. So glad to see some of the characters from the original series and to meet new characters which already feel like friends.

Strange ending

It was pretty good!!, I’m thinking her and the vampire will get together eventually and I loved that Lucy made an appearance but it wasn’t Lucy voice kind of made it not real . Look forward to the next book and getting to know the characters. And another thing at the end it just ended!!! No recap of what happened afterwards to the people or how the vampires liked the video of what happened, the story just ended, I couldn’t believe it!!!

Redundant

I really loved Vampire Knitting Club. Cornwall book one feels quite redundant to the original series. It was difficult getting to the end. Saying that — the ending great and I am glad I hung in there.
