About this listen

Lady Madeline Ryder wants an exciting life with a handsome, enticing pirate king. Her aunt and her father, however, have very different plans for her. They have given her until Valentine’s Day to become engaged to their idea of the perfect man.

Madeline is resigned to meekly do as she is told, until a chance meeting on the street has her stumbling into the arms of Lord Samuel Powell, Duke of Wiltshire. One look in his mischievous, twinkling blue eyes, and Madeline is ready to fight for what she wants: true love.

Now, Madeline has two weeks to convince her family that Sam is her perfect Valentine, despite his past, and that love will always conquer all.

Beautiful Valentines Romance 💕

I was given this beautiful book for an honest review.

I really enjoyed listening to this fast paced and well written storyline. The beautiful young Lady Madeline is having her season in London. Her Aunt Caroline and Uncle Michael are hosting her. Her father, a Duke hopes she finds a husband.

But, fate has other plans for the beautiful Madeline when she is caught by a handsome rake the Duke of Wiltshire.
Thus begins a love at first sight for them!

I absolutely loved this book! Such a beautiful romance, well written and well paced for a short listen. I love the attention to details and the narrative.
I love epilogues ❤️. This book is so well written, it’s a beautiful romance!
I enjoyed listening to the narrator.

meh

i’m not sure how to rate and review this novella due to the fact that there wasn’t any reason for the author to have written it in the first place. it’s a generic short romance story, nothing more, nothing less. i kept waiting for something exciting to happen, but it never came. and the narrator was kind of...... cheesy, is the only word that pops into my head, and her voice for the main character was irritating and over the top. sorry for the bad review, at least now i know and understand why this was a free audiobook.
