This is so wrong, pronunciation of names wrong, no emotion just ewwww. I would have been a completely different experience if a human narrated this book

Robotic

First time listening to a computer audio and probably the last. Very robotic sounding, lacks inflection, and mispronounced main character name the whole book. Hard to get into the story line.

Good story if you can get past AI narrator

Maybe the plot takes a stretch of the imagination but I like stretching in that direction

Good story, bad narration hate the A.I

I hate to leave a review about the narration , but the story itself was fine , but the A I is two monotone and it doesn't say all the words correctly Which is really annoying

Awful Virtual Voice!

It was hard to get past the terrible voice narration. I guess the story was OK, but an actor would’ve helped it immensely.

BEWARE AI Narrated

AI mispronounced Xavier’s name multiple times then would get it right before making another mistake. “Run on “ narration with no inflection. Almost gave up on this one! Give up on AI a

If this is the best that AI can offer, voice actors’ jobs are safe

The AI narration was so bad, it was truly difficult to get into the book. The cover even looks AI generated. All together, it makes me wonder if the actual story was created using AI too.

There were several places when the English language was used in non-normative patterns. Ex: The main character says something like, “I hurriedly gulped down a shower.” What does that even mean? I know we gulp beverages and even food, but showers? I’ve never heard gulp used that way. Also, so many mispronounced words, especially names.

I hope this is not the wave of the future of audiobooks, because two thumbs way down on this beta experiment. The technology is just not there yet.

Love this book

I cannot wait to read more in this series. How many other great characters in here? There's a lot of good story lines available.

Just not interesting

In truth, I did not listen to the full story. I skipped about four hours in the middle. And when I got towards the end, the characters were struggling with the same conflict as in the very beginning. There was nothing to the characters that was particularly lovable. There was nothing in the plot that was interesting.

I do not like the computer narrator there is no intonation.

It may have been a good book, but cannot absolutely cannot understand why a computer voice is telling this story. I kept wanting to doze off and decided not to listen to anymore.
