About this listen
Seventeen-year-old Jack's entire life changes when he is summoned to his dying mother's room one fateful night. She reveals a long-forgotten prophecy of three brothers who would bring an end to a vampire queen, a werewolf king, and the great and powerful one. When Jack drinks from a mysterious vial, he finds himself transported five hundred years into the future, where he discovers that vampires and werewolves are real. He is even more shocked to discover that his two brothers, Royce and Draco, are among them.
Royce, a short-tempered vampire, has built an empire with his wealth and everlasting life. But when two obnoxious brothers and a young girl named Shaylie enter his life, his world turns upside down. Suddenly, he must confront an evil that threatens to destroy everything he's worked for.
Draco, a carefree werewolf, is living the dream as a rock star with all the trappings of success: a gorgeous girlfriend, adoring fans, money, and friends. His biggest concern so far has been how to break it to his girlfriend that he's a werewolf. But when Jack appears in his backyard, unconscious and disoriented, Draco realizes that his world is about to change forever.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Word Choice
My critique is more author. “Said” was a verb used to much. Other verbs like “stated”, “mentioned”, “responded” etc would have fit in many areas. Also some of it could have come before the quotes: [character name] asked, “...” [Character name] added, “...” Not a bad plot; however, probably not something I would get deep into if it’s a series. Narration was great.

Fun Read
I really enjoyed this book. It is a unique take on the typical vampire and werewolf story. The characters were fun to get to know. I couldn't pick a favorite character. The story line moved along at a good pace. There isn't a lot of unneeded details just to make the book longer. There were several battles that made the book full of action but it was also funny at times. I enjoyed the narration. The narrator created fun sound effects that made it more enjoyable to listen to. I can't wait to listen to the next one.

Great story and narration!
As someone who has never been drawn to vampire and werewolf tales before, I was pleasantly surprised by how this book captivated my imagination from start to finish. The narration is masterfully done, bringing the characters, the intricate backdrops, and the underlying tensions vividly to life. What impressed me most was Lane's ability to weave together a complex storyline without overwhelming the reader. The pacing is perfect, allowing the plot to unfold organically while keeping the reader guessing at every turn. The characters are well-developed, each with their own distinct personalities and motivations that add layers of depth to the narrative. "The Prophecy" is more than just a supernatural thriller; it's a testament to Lane's skill in crafting a world where the supernatural and the human intertwine seamlessly. Whether you're a longtime fan of paranormal fiction or a newcomer like myself, this book is sure to leave you eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series.

A great tale!
I throughly enjoyed the ride of this book. What made me appreciate it more was how this wasn’t the typical vampire/werewolf lore. The author put her own spin on things and I wasn’t mad at it at all. Good fight scenes that can be followed and the storytelling and character development was great. There were parts that really put me in my feelings. I’m ready for book 2 to see how this adventure goes. I only wish there was something at the end to tease me a little for what’s coming next, but I still enjoyed the heartfelt way it ended.
