A Powerful Illustration and Timely Message

Where to begin? I found myself engulfed in the message of this book. It is written for those who walk in faith and choose to live a sacred life before the Lord. We all make mistakes, and Ebony bluntly shares the horror of her mistakes. This book touch my emotions deeply and I saw a wounded girl, seeking forgiveness. So many people can relate to that concept. You may not have committed the act Ebony did, but there may be areas in your life where forgiveness is needed. The is a POWER message to the church. After searching I found out this book in only part 1 in the series. You can tell by the author's style that he is an avid believer of Christ. The church scene where Evangelist Allen preached actually felt like a real sermon. This book is filled with the right about of drama and biblical truths. You can feel Ebony's plea and from a certain perspective understand the pathway that led her down that way. Make no mistake. LUST is dangerous and the LORD is not pleased when we obey the deeds. It's time to get it right church and repent of your evil ways. This book is a wake up call for everyone. I don't know if this book was a testimony or a story. Either way, the message it delivered is we must maintain HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD! I will recommend this book to everyone. Especially the church!

Disappointed

I was somewhat disappointed in this book. It is a short book but thought the story line could have been better. This is a book to give people a message. I just don't think it will be heard.

Repentance

Although I expected some rebellion, I did not think the story would end like this. It has a good moral ending.

Good message, narrator isn’t great!

This was a difficult book to listen to because the narrator seemed to be rushing through the book. I had to re-listen to this book several times to get the message.

The message was good and sound and I definitely got what the author was trying to give across. The narrator let the book down.

Forgiveness and Redemption

The Pastor's Daughter
By: T K Ware

This book has a strong message. A bishop's daughter had an affair with a married preacher and became pregnant. The choices and lack of faith and decisions made by her and the father of her child effect more than just the two of them. It is also a story of forgiveness and hopefully redemption. The church isn't a place of perfect people, it's a place for imperfect people to let God work in their lives.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Barbara Oliver helped spread the message.

I had a couple issues with this book.

The storyline is relevant to current issues. For such a short book there were a lot of characters and it was difficult to keep track of them. I didn't care for the narrator unfortunately.

The perfect narrator for a great story.

When it comes to audiobooks I think the narrator could make or break a story. When it comes to the preachers daughter the narrator totally made the story. There is a scene in the story where a guest preacher speaks and I promise I felt as if I was in church and found myself saying amen and thank you God. It wasn’t just the scene though she met every emotion the book called for and she did it in Spades. Now I know has she been reading a dull boring story it wouldn’t have affected me the way it did, but because it was A true story and one everyone can relate to I think that made it even better. Even if you are not into church and just into reading stories of drama I would read this book this is a great book it is not PG due to it being a bow church they speak of a abortion, adultery, homosexuality ET see and not in a favorable light so if you are for these things or don’t respect others opinions when I say others I mean God’s opinion this book isn’t for you. If you do read this book.

not for me

in my opinion the story wasn't well crafted. is filled a story line that happens all over, in and outside of the church but it just wasn't worth reading in my opinion
