Performed in duet by Teddy Hamilton & Brooke Bloomingdale!

Just what every bride dreams of—running straight from her cheating fiancé into the arms of a hot hockey star… and then getting hired as his kids’ nanny.

Tyler Falcon is protective, flirtatious…and frustratingly responsible. We almost did something reckless when he found me alone in my wedding dress, and I blurted out all the things I’d never truly experienced.

Now, the sexy single dad is saving me again with a job I desperately need—and a promise to never mention The Night of 1001 Confessions.

I live in his house. Take care of his kids. Pretend I don’t notice his heated gaze lingering on me after they fall asleep.

Until one night, the tension snaps.

Now we have a deal. Five lessons in seduction. No strings attached.

But he’s not just good in bed. He spoils me with thoughtful gifts and supports my dreams. For the first time, I feel like I belong.

Except…this was never meant to last. I’m his employee. He has kids to protect. And neither of us can afford to make a mistake.

The more nights we spend tangled up together though, the harder it is to pretend it’s just physical. Because I’m not only falling for my boss—I’m falling for the man whose kids have stolen my heart.

I am all in with this fun and spicy hockey romance! Tyler is a professional hockey play, doing his best to manage raising his kids and playing the game. When Sabrina leaves her fiance at the alter, gets drunk and spills all her secrets to Tyler, he would love to give her the experiences she desires. But he has a more honor than that, and the two go about their lives. That is until his mother hires the retired figure skater as the new nanny. And the emotions are off and running! I loved how Tyler took an interest in Sabrina's love of teaching people to skate and that he gives her the balance of being the nanny and having her career. I love Sabrina's way with the kids. She has a feel for finding how to connect despite any obstacle. And the push pull between these two, the secret rendezvous, the passion and the true feelings are all incredible. This is a fun listen, one that pulled me in and it flew by. The sign of a truly good story!

Brooke Bloomingdale and Teddy Hamilton are so good together. Bloomingdale holds Sabrina's emotions, and lets them fly at all the right times. She has the fun and playful voice and even the mom voice when needed. Hamilton has that warm, easy feel, but deals with a lot of feelings flowing out of Tyler. Loved these two and their performance.

SO good!!!

The romance between Tyler and Sabrina in The Overtime Kiss by Lauren Blakely is characterized by a blend of emotional vulnerability, undeniable chemistry, and the complexities that arise from their evolving relationship and personal circumstances.

Sabrina is introduced at a vulnerable moment—she has just left her fiancé at the altar after discovering his infidelity. Still in her wedding dress, she seeks solace at a hotel bar, where she unexpectedly encounters Tyler, a professional hockey player and single father to Parker and Luna. Sabrina is also Luna’s skating coach, which means there is already a connection between them, though Tyler has harbored feelings for Sabrina for some time. Despite his attraction, Tyler has always respected her engagement and never acted on his feelings.

Their initial interaction is marked by Tyler’s gentlemanly behavior: he offers her his hotel room for the night and provides clothes for her the next morning, demonstrating both kindness and restraint. This sets the tone for their relationship—rooted in mutual respect and consideration for each other’s emotional states.

Their dynamic becomes more complicated when circumstances bring them into even closer proximity. Tyler’s nanny leaves, and Sabrina, needing a job, is hired as the new nanny by Tyler’s mother. Now, Tyler’s long-held crush becomes his employee, intensifying their daily interactions. The chemistry between them is palpable, and as they spend more time together, their attraction deepens. However, both are cautious: Sabrina is recovering from a broken engagement, and Tyler is protective of his children and wary of complicating their lives with a new romance.

Despite these hesitations, Tyler and Sabrina eventually give in to their feelings, agreeing to a relationship with an “expiration date.” This arrangement allows them to explore their connection while acknowledging the potential risks they both want to avoid. The developing intimacy between them, not just physically but emotionally, is both exhilarating and scary as Sabrina becomes more involved in Tyler’s family life and his relationship with his children. The adorable personalities of Parker and Luna add warmth and depth to the romance, making Sabrina’s growing affection for the entire family an integral part of the narrative.

I always enjoy the “getting to know each other better” parts of a love story. This was a beautiful, funny, swoony story was so well-written, and I loved every minute of it. The characters were great, and the narration by Brooke Bloomingdale and Teddy Hamilton was flawless.

I love everything about this story!

I think this book was one of my favorites of this series! I am always a sucker for the hockey player plus single dad trope. And Tyler did not disappoint. I love the dynamic between his kids and him and how easy Sabrina fits in.

Sabrina goes from Tyler’s secret crush, to being his kid’s live in nanny, which is always a fun one to read.

I also love how Tyler and Sabrina are able to connect on a deeper level with how they were brought up. Not only do they work on healing separately but they help heal each other together as well.

These books have such a cozy ‘found family’ vibe, and I love how all of them are connected. Absolutely loved it!

This book had me hooked faster than you can say 'runaway bride.' From the moment Sabrina ditches her wedding and stumbles into a bar and into the life of one charming single dad, Tyler. I knew I was in for a ride. Tyler, by the way? Certified cinnamon roll, sweet, soft, and totally swoonworthy.

Their flirty banter gave me life, the chemistry was deliciously undeniable, and the tension? Chef’s kiss. I adored how Tyler was not only an amazing dad but also ridiculously attentive to Sabrina. Like, where do we find more of you?

The kids and the other side characters added so much heart and hilarity to the story. I genuinely didn’t want it to end. Oh, and let’s talk about the narration: Teddy Hamilton and Brooke Bloomingdale were absolute magic together. Their duet brought every scene to life in the best way.

This book took me on a journey watching Sabrina grow her wings and fly. She has spent her life striving for perfection thanks to her parents and her need to succeed in order to please them. Her long term boyfriend turned fiancé hasn’t treated her any better. When she takes control of her life she blossoms and finds just what she needed.

Tyler is a professional hockey player and he is always in control. He is striving to be the opposite of his father by putting his kids first at all costs. He has crushed on the ice skater for a while but she’s off limits, that is until the temptation is too great and he gives in to that attraction.

I’m trying to avoid spoilers which is difficult because I want to tell you all the things but just know it is a well written story with some sweet cuddly moments as well as some heartbreaking moments and I was completely wrapped up in it. I loved everything about this book.

Teddy Hamilton and Brooke Bloomberg were perfect as well. Great job.

This is a standalone but includes characters from previous books in this series. They are all great

From the moment I started listening, I couldn’t stop until I was done. “The Overtime Kiss” is a swoony, heartfelt and steamy single Dad/Nanny hockey romance that has easily moved to one of my favorites in the series.

Sabrina is an ice skating coach and it’s her wedding day. However, on her wedding day she discovers her fiance had been cheating on her and she exposes him as she is walking down the aisle. Despite her family saying she should get over it and marry him, Sabrina takes her escape and ends up in a different hotel. There she meets Tyler Falcon, star hockey player and Dad to one of the kids she teaches. Tequila leads to confessions and despite wanting each other, nothing happens between them. Fast forward a few weeks later, Tyler needs a nanny for his two kids and Sabrina needs a job. She agrees to one year with them and the chemistry the two had that night is still very much there. They agree to keep things professional but feelings take over one night.

From the beginning when Sabrina got back out of her ex, I was cheering for her. She took a bit of herself back at the moment and I knew I was going to like her. She’s kind, smart and has the biggest heart. And boy did I love Daddy Falcon. Tyler’s whole world is his children and there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them. Tyler is caring, protective and is a great teammate. Sabrina was incredible with his children, Luna and Parker. These two had met prior to Sabrina’s wedding day and that man was down bad for her even back then. But he was respectful and never made a move because she was engaged. The connection they had was instant and only grew stronger as they spent time together. I loved how they really got to know each other and Tyler showed how much he liked her by acts of service. Making sure she knew that he heard her and valued her. And the tension between them was fantastic and I couldn’t wait for them to give into the feelings they had. And when they do.... Daddy Falcon doesn’t disappoint. The two had some things to work though and it takes them a minute to see that they do have a future. The ending was so sweet and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Brooke Bloomingdale and Teddy Hamilton narrated this audiobook in duet and I loved listening to them bring this story to life. Brooke’s narration was fun, sweet and caring just like Sabrina. Teddy was amazing as Tyler, he brought his genuine and caring personality alive perfectly. These two were fantastic together and I enjoyed listening to this audiobook.

It only took the very first chapter for me to fall in love with Sabrina and know she deserves the world! Not that Tyler isn't easy to live either. I absolutely adore Tyler as a dad and his kids are very cute too. I love the chemistry between Tyler and Sabrina. Anytime he gets upset about how awful she has been treated is just perfection. I love how they feel like magnets that just can't stay apart for long and I enjoy how the kids fit into that too. This was a really cute read and a fantastic addition to a really good series!

The Overtime Kiss is a heartfelt, hilarious, and sizzling romance! I was completely captivate from word one as Tyler and Sabrina's beautiful story charmed me, made me laugh, and also swoon, as my heart melted for their little family. Professional hockey player, Tyler, is a single dad who is in need of help to juggle life with his two adorable kids and work. Retired figure skater, Sabrina, found out her fiancé was cheating on her so she walked away from her wedding. She meets Tyler at a bar and she spills all her secrets to him over drinks. Month's later Tyler's mom hires Sabrina to be a nanny for Tyler's kids. Tyler has always had a thing for Sabrina as he watched her coach on the ice. He also remembers everything she told him at the bar and wants to give her all her desires. Sabrina creative and fun and she is great with the kids as they fall into an easy rhythm. Soon the chemistry between Tyler and Sabrina is too strong to ignore. They start ticking off the things that Sabrina has never done. Tyler is so attentive and giving, and Sabrina feels completely safe with him. But the conflict of boss-employee, along with their past traumas causes anxiety and Sabrina starts to pull away. Will they be able to show their vulnerabilities and open their hearts to each other? I really fell hard for Tyler and Sabrina. They were so good for each other, helping each other open their hearts to grow, and heal, and see that they are worthy of love. I loved Sabrina's strength and resilience, her imaginative ways, and the sweet relationship she had with the kids. Tyler was so generous, loving, and deliciously dominant that made my heart swoon. They are perfect for each other, and their chemistry leaped right off the page! I also loved their family and friends and teammates who were all so loving, and supportive, and added some of the most hilarious moments!
Brooke Bloomingdale and Teddy Hamilton were brilliant as Sabrina and Tyler, delivering a performance that was completely addictive. They portray each character with a perfect balance between humor, heartbreaking emotion, and sizzling passion flawlessly. You could definitely feel the chemistry that smolders between Sabrina and Tyler. They add so much personality to this story, making it even more enjoyable and endearing. This is a wonderfully witty, tender, and steamy story that you can't help but devour as it captures your heart.

Wonderfully witty, tender, and steamy!

Brooke Bloomingdale and Teddy Hamilton are GOLD medal narrators.

Tyler Falcon, hockey player and single dad, has a thing for figure skaters - he has for years. When Sabrina Snow shows up at the hotel bar in a wedding dress, he remembers her from when she did a between periods skating demonstration during a hockey game a year ago. She left her cheating fiancé and her horrible parents at the altar and has no idea what she's going to do next. They have a pretty deep discussion about her history and her hopes, but their almost one night stand doesn't happen.

A few weeks later, after his nanny Agatha has left them, he offers the job to Sabrina. It will work out well with her own schedule as a skating coach.

They resist the sparks as long as they can, before they enter into an arrangement where he'll help her work through some of her *personal* goals.

This story is poignant, sweet, witty - I had tears in my eyes as the end was approaching. There is no redemption for Sabrina's parents, but she has her own found family with her friends, and with Tyler and his kids.

Highly recommend!
