Publisher's summary

He found the power he was looking for, proved to everyone how strong he was, and discovered the secret that had been lying under everyone's noses. He was a talent who was promised a place in the Academy.

But what should one do when in the face of betrayal? What should one do when they betray their own? What to do when those for whom you have worked yourself to death ask you to give up everything? What should one do when wealth and power are stronger than their talent?

Monotonous, story and narration

World building was unbelievable, characters were universally un-likable and MC’s internal monologue was like listening to paint dry. Unfortunately, I’m stubborn and will keep on eye-rolling through the series.
