Publisher's summary
Something big is going on in this town.
Police officer Darren Callaghan has been hunting for the cause of a burned mountain on the outskirts of Leadville, Colorado, but when a woman goes missing, he can’t help the feeling that they are connected somehow. A call comes in that some fences have been cut, and he finds a ragtag group of trespassers is squatting on some abandoned land outside of town. This is his moment. This is the missing piece. This is his chance to figure out all of the strange occurrences that have been piling up lately. The trespassers he questions aren’t what he expected though, especially not the dark-haired beauty that seems to be leading these snarling people. Aspen is gorgeous, protective, smart, and courageous, but it’s clear to see she’s hiding something behind those bright-gold eyes…something dangerous that will change the course of his life forever.
Aspen Moore is a werewolf on her very last chance.
Tired of running from wars her last Alpha started, she’s pulling one last desperate move to find sanctuary for the Trader Pack in the mountains of Colorado. Her Pack is in need of an Alpha who can keep them safe, but no one wants to tether themselves to a Pack that is being hunted. One meeting in the woods with a handsome police officer throws everything she thought she knew into a tailspin. Nothing is as it seems near Promise Falls, but perhaps a big, powerful, dominant man in uniform is just what she and her friends need to stay alive. Falling for him is a horrible idea, but the heart wants what it wants. The more she gets to know him, the more she wants to protect him from what is coming for the Trader Pack, and now she must choose—the life of her Pack, or the life of the man she’s falling in love with.
Buckle up for this wild ride as two new Alphas battle for one territory. War has come to Promise Falls. Lines will be drawn, boundaries will be crossed, and alliances will be destroyed as once again, love fights to conquer all.
Content Warning: Explicit love scenes, naughty language, and piles of shifter secrets. This series is mid-war and mid-establishing territory lines. If you aren’t up for wolf fights, this won’t be your jam, but if you’re up for action-adventure love stories with a side of werewolf growly-growly-fight-fights, this one’s for you.
Two Packs, one territory.
May the best werewolves win.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Story
After watching my mother succumb to a mysterious illness, I promised myself two things. I'd find the cure for what ravaged her and leave the godforsaken city where she abandoned me. Four years later, I received an acceptance letter from Dracadia University, one of the oldest most prestigious schools in the country. Nestled on a secluded island off the coast of Maine, it's rumored to be haunted by the souls of the mental patients exiled there centuries before, those whose bones are said to make up the island's white sandy shores. And restless ghosts aren't even its most daunting peculiarity.

Rock bottom feels like home to Stark Wulfson. What he can’t cope with are meaningful relationships, so he’s bounced around from werewolf Pack to werewolf Pack, fighting anyone who so much as looks at him wrong. One of my faves!
So so many things to love about this story! Marsden is a continuous surprise to me. His thoughts and actions plus past activities. Then add Carly to the mix and they fit together. I have so many passages highlighted but my favorite one is the first time he touches her as a test then she come back with a head rest on his cheat. That is a special moment between the two that I really felt that haze right along with them. Very well written!
I feel like I say this with every book but this is one of my favorites. We see a lot of growth between the two main characters plus Stark. Nit sure what the next in the series will be about but I am sure it will be on par with the first three.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
