In a rarified world of scientific research, a revolution has been brewing. Its activists are not anarchists, but rather Nobel Laureates in physics and economics and pony-tailed graduates, mathematicians, and computer scientists from all over the world. They have formed an iconoclastic think-tank and their radical idea is to create a new science: complexity. They want to know how a primordial soup of simple molecules managed to turn itself into the first living cell--and what the origin of life some four billion years ago can tell us about the process of technological innovation today.

Very Interesting!
This has given me a lot of background information about Psilocybin; the original findings, new science and research, the effects and things to be aware of. I am interested in whatever therapeutic benefits it can have and knowing whether this is something that can truly help people get over traumas and feel better. This book certainly goes into it and gives the science behind the effects in the brain and body. It's well-narrated and good to listen to.

power of nature and the human spirit
I really enjoyed reading this book, it's a great book that teaches you all about the history and science of magic mushrooms, and even shows you how to grow your own. The author does a good job of explaining the benefits and risks of using these mushrooms for personal growth and healing. It's not a very long book, just a little over 3 hours. so i pretty much finished it couple days commute and it's good to learn something during a boring drive.
