Healing Made Simple
I just finished listening to this audiobook, and it was eye-opening. The author breaks down EMDR therapy in a way that’s easy to understand, even though the concept of using eye movements for healing sounded a bit strange at first. The step-by-step guide made it feel like I had a personal coach helping me tackle my anxiety and past traumas.
The best part was the personal worksheets included. They made the whole process feel interactive and engaging. I found myself having some "aha" moments as I worked through my own issues. If you’re looking for a practical way to start your healing journey, this audiobook is a great companion. Highly recommended!

A cutting-edge new approach
Archer Miles gives listeners an insider’s view into a cutting-edge new approach that uproots traumas and emotional pains at the cognitive and root level. I have been an avid practicer of EMDR for quite some time and was once a user of a web tool that had a metronome-like, pong (the video game) style EMDR program that queued you when to think of a traumatic memory, and when to replace these memories with new perspectives that can reframe them. And guess what? It worked wonders, so I am an avid advocate of such therapies. But even as a self-proclaimed ambassador for these kinds of therapies, I still took on a TON of new information regarding EMDR, cognitive brain functioning, the amygdala, in particular, and a bunch more information from Archer Mile’s excellent title. I am starting to have absorbed quite a collection of their work at this point and have benefitted immensely. My favorite part about this book is the included worksheets that allow listeners to take subconscious reprogramming and, therefore, healing, into their own hands.
