Shabtai Shoval, author of The Chosen One, spent years as a writer of political and security scenarios for the Israeli Defense Forces. In this novel, he brings to bear the extensive knowledge he has accumulated in order to place the reader within an horrific scenario; one, which considering the progress of Iran’s nuclear weapons program, could very well become a reality in our not so distant future.
