Publisher's summary

Agatha is up to something, and with a witch that powerful, you can bet it won’t be good for me.

She’s always wanted to dig her claws into Milo, and when he starts acting...well, odd, I can only assume her shiny new necklace has something to do with it. It reeks of enchantment, and as Milo gets lost in the depths of her spell, only I can save him. Messing with me is one thing. But messing with my men? That’s unforgivable.

One by one, my men are being removed from my life. First, Milo. Then, Gideon. Powerful people are behind this, pulling the strings on my life in an effort to take everything I love away, which means Soren and Jesse are next on this deadly hit list.

You mess with my men, you mess with me. What the people hunting us don’t realize is you don’t want to mess with me. The people after us want war. Well, I can give them that. Ready or not, here I come.

The Blood Oath of Blackbriar Academy features an alternative relationship dynamic that supports our badass heroine's right to choose more than one man. Expect heart-pounding action, breathtaking magic, deadly assassins, four drop-dead gorgeous men, and, most importantly, a young woman’s journey to find justice, self-discovery, and freedom.

Includes a special note from the author.

LOVE

Olivia Ash captivated me with this thrilling series, I absolutely love the adventures Wren and her men. To comment on the last review left on this book, I do not think that Wren is a wimp pretending to be a badass, I think she is her own kind of badass. She was terribly abused and made to think she was nothing and no one, but she overcomes that and blossoms into a strong woman who protects the people she loves and protects herself. If she were a wimp she would not fight for anyone, everyone would fight for her. I can’t wait to dive into the next book.

Ren sure brags a lot

High fives to Amanda Dolan for her excellent narration. I just got a little tired of Ren continuously threatening the bad guys and then drawing it out hurting them to finally die. Gets a little repetitive. That darn curse necklace she could have gotten many times, but it was drawn out through whole book. Otherwise story was good and surprising news at the end of it.

Bk 4 Blood Oath

This is a reverse harem style story whereby the council it attempting to segregate Wren from her men (Soren, Gideon, Jesse, and Milo)
Another rich and spoilt Agatha wants Milo, who has already pledged himself to Wren, so when Agatha takes things to a different level - Milo begins to lose himself and the person he once was. One thing that didn't work for me in this series is - it's supposed to be soooo difficult to get into this hidden society special academy, but Agatha doesn't have the power or skill set to prove she's worthy of entry -

Next while Milo is heading down hill, the council sets it's sites on head master Gideon in hopes of taking over the school and more.

BFF Savanah is the friend everyone wants, and as the girls work to save the Academy and save Wren's men they attempt to uncover the "how's" -

I really enjoyed book 5 and look forward to listening to book 6....hopefully soon.

Disappointing

This book had too many words. Regular readers will understand what I mean. There was a constant stretching to lengthen the story. It was exhausting to listen to. Wish it was a paperback so I could just skip to the back and find out the outcome. Maybe the series is being rushed to have more releases. It left me disappointed and disinterested. If Wren “chuckles” one more time!
