About this listen
Her obsession with bearing a child would bring the world to its knees.
Marian Wassef longed for a child of her own and she would have one, no matter the cost. Her decisions would give rise to the Beast and change the course of history.
The Beast is a powerful and evil man. Determined to hold sway over the world, he forms a temporary alliance with the Trilateral council, using them to develop a weapon so powerful nations will beg for mercy.
Yussaf Wassef is a righteous man resolved to combat the evil his wife, Marian, has released into the world. He and his long-time friend and college classmate, Marckus Rashida, work together to hatch a plan to expose and resist the Beast but they can’t succeed on their own. If they hope to prevail, they will need the technical and tactical help of Elias Tobias Montague and his group of Christian Faithful.
Will this unlikely alliance find a way to resist the darkness taking over the world? Or is their holy mission doomed to fail?

Did not like virtual voice.
I do like the story. You need to start with book one to follow the rest of the books. I think it would help a lot if virtual voicing wasn’t used.

I tried and couldn’t
Well, the general concept of the story is fine. I genuinely enjoyed the beginning, right up until Nicholas’s birth, then it kind of went to hell. How fitting for this story. To make it worse the generated narration SUCKED. It pronounced job like Job constantly. Doze for dose or visa versa. The total lack of inflection was like sitting through a boring lecture in college. I could not continue listening for another 3 hours. I’m surprised I made it that far.
To make it worse, the author needed to develop the storyline. It just seemed so terribly lacking in character growth and development. Odd twists were brought in, almost as if bits were cut out of other story ideas and spliced together into this one, it doesn’t feel coherent. The anti-christ was an interesting character & if the rest had been as well done as him and the mother it would have been a better story. The author does have potential to be quite good, but this story was a flop. Again, the idea was good and I plan on seeing what else he has written in the hopes this is a one off. I think the author has good ideas, but perhaps the terrible narration just ruined the whole thing.
