About this listen

The Art of the Argument shocks the dying art of rational debate back to life, giving you the essential tools you need to fight the escalating sophistry, falsehoods, and vicious personal attacks that have displaced intelligent conversations throughout the world. At a time when we need reasonable and empirical discussions more desperately than ever, The Art of the Argument smashes through the brain-eating fogs of sophistry and mental manipulation, illuminating a path to benevolent power for all who wish to take it.

Civilization is defined by our willingness and ability to use words instead of fists - in the absence of reason, violence rules. The Art of the Argument gives you the intellectual ammunition - in one concentrated, entertaining and powerful package - to engage in truly productive, civilization-saving debates. Armed with this book, you will be empowered to speak truth to power, illuminate ignorance, shatter delusions, and expose the dangerous sophists within your own life, and around the world.

Arm yourself with truth and value right now!

Where does The Art of the Argument rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Since Socrates, no philosopher has held humanity so close to his heart by going directly to the marketplace. Stefan Molyneux seeks with this capital work, not to tease and entertain your intellectual fancy but to arm you for the front lines of the conflict between good and evil. He has here outdone himself and made accessible everything anyone could need to make a difference for the better, for life.

Hopefully one of many

Entertaining in ways only Stefan can be this book is excellent for outlining the common means of social manipulation. I can only hope he makes more literature that delves deeper

All parents should have their children read this book.

Many people will tell others what to think, but it is those who teach how to think that empower humanity. A return to classic logic and reason, the Socratic dialectic, is the ultimate cure for all that ails society.

Great stuff

Thank you Stefan. Great listen for those that want to be more effective debaters. Seems our world could use more open minded thinkers these days.
