A Lifesaver for Parents Like Me

As a parent navigating life with an autistic child, I found this book to be a breath of fresh air. The tips for handling meltdowns were practical and easy to try, and I was surprised by how well they worked with my son. What stood out the most was the emphasis on celebrating strengths instead of just managing challenges and that shifted how I see my child and our challeges. The section on self-care hit home, too; it reminded me that I can’t pour from an empty cup. This isn’t just a guide; it’s a toolbox and a pep talk all in one. I highly recommend this for any parent in the trenches!

Great Advice

I needed to read this as my nephew is autistic and it can be quite difficult for me to understand at times, this book has helped me bridge that gap and gain better insight into how he works rather than my expectations of how our communication should go, great book, highly recommend if you want more insight and guidance
