Great book for women who are pregnant, for mothers of babies or young children, and women who plan on having more babies.

Great read, especially for mothers of babies

As a nursing (new) mom I have often sought advice from La Leche League’s website because they are possibly one of, if not the most well-known and respected resource for breastfeeding online. I was pleased to find that not only had LLLI written a book specific to the connection between nursing and breastfeeding, but that it was available here on Audible (perfect for busy moms like me). It is especially helpful for anyone who likes to have research to back up the claims surrounding bed-sharing and it offers practical advice on how to bed-share safely. It has definitely changed my perspective on the topic. Great listen!

Incredibly Helpful

This is an audiobook that will put all the mothers’ (especially new mamas) mind at peace when it comes to following their instinct and keep “well-intentioned” friends, family, whoever, at bay.

Must listen!

This book is a must for new parents. In a world where everyone is trying to sell a sleep program, and babies are often left alone and crying for comfort, this book is such a breath of fresh air. It made me more confident in trusting my instincts and has made all of the difference in our home!

Fantastic read!

Buy it! This book has amazing information and solutions to troubleshoot many issues that come up when you have a baby. If course it's sleep focused because it's a book about sleep =o)
I tried their suggestions and can honestly say I am getting better sleep and so is my baby!
The performance was perfect.

Great information/ Solutions

... and I've read quite a few.

This is a wonderful book. Well structured and covering all the significant topics concerning sleep for babies, this book should be the first book to read for any new parent.

Being so recently published, it speaks about the science and discoveries of our days.

Listening to the audio version has helped me countless times getting calm incredibly quickly in times of despair when the baby was crying, tired in my arms, not willing to sleep. In a really short time, my newly gained peace would be transferred to him too, and helped him get asleep so easy.

Thank you for your efforts of putting together all this valuable information and being a real friend to sleep deprived mothers.

One of the best baby sleep books I've read

Finally a book that doesn’t fear monger you and instead gives you practical and safe advice when you bedshare with your baby (whether intentional or not!)

Common sense and research based

I love how they base everything they say on statistics; it was really helpful and I learned a lot. I would have given the narrator 5 stars as well, but the editing made it a bit hard at times to tell where one part stopped and the next began. Not a huge problem, though.

Great! :)

This book was 12 hours of authors telling you your "mom instincts" run the show and are all you need to become a super hero and take care of your baby, in feeding and sleep care.
I'm weary of that as it didn't work with my first baby. I didn't know what she wanted and when. The screams and cries all sounded the same to me. The instincts were not helping. I thought she was dying all the time and my anxiety and stress were high. What other job do you perform based on instinct alone? Do you want a surgeon who performs medical surgeries based on his instinct alone? How silly.
I've been reading these kind of books pregnant with my second because I seek to sharpen my education on sleep and feeding practices.
This book didn't start citing research until the last 3 hours of listening. Then I heard reasons why bed-sharing is not a real SIDs risk, why if you follow 7 rules about your sleeping area ("Safe Sleep 7"), he won't suffocate, and why American policies are just trying to scare you out of sleeping with your baby. It's true, my hospital made me watch videos of babies getting crushed and smothered and dying on the couch before I left the hospital and it frightened the living heck out of me... this book tells me that won't happen because I'm a good mom and my instincts will kick in before he gets hurt. 👍
I'm iffy. Do I really want to take that risk even if it is a 2 in a million chance? Not really... people always say you never think it can happen to you until it happens one day. :/ Why should I even be on the fence about a 0.01% chance my child could die? This sucks. Book was long and boring and repetitive (like this sentence), but I listened to the whole thing hoping for some hope.

I am on the fence
