THIS BOOK IS FULL OF MAGIC! I read this when I was struggling with my first to sleep and I tried the suggestions and she had been sleeping on her own room since 6 months old and napping with no issues (she is 3 now). When we had my son I had to get this audible version since the first time I read it I borrowed from a friend. He is 16 months and has been sleeping great since we 5 months. I cannot recommend this book enough, and there are so many fun little jokes mixed in! 12/10 recommend.

I chose this as my free trial audible book and I am so pleased with my choice! I have listened to a lot of sleep-related audiobooks and some of them are so drab and boring, mostly because they are not narrated by the author themselves. This author actually took the time to narrate a 8 hour long book and it makes such a difference! The tone and the humor makes those 8 hours go by fast instead of dragging on and on. And I definitely skipped some chapters that did not apply to my situation, something you can’t always do with other audiobooks so thanks Audible! There is so much good information in this book, that I think the hardest part is knowing what to apply to your specific situation. I have listened to several chapters but I am just now applying some of the strategies. Hopefully it helps!

You don’t have to go through the whole book. But the advice here are gems for the sleep deprived baby and mom. I played chapter 5-6 over and over again

I found the narrator supremely annoying and the “jokes” are distracting and annoying. Content was generally good.

The book starts describing how the author felt outcasted by using formula instead of breast milk, suggesting she understand there's multiple life styles which then she forgets at outlining the "best guidelines" for making baby sleeps. Jokes are a good effort just not compelling nor funny imo

The book has good, useful content but I can’t get past how annoying the author/narrator is. Constantly making bad jokes and using cutesy language. I guess they needed to fill up a whole book. Had to stop listening because it was just so cringey. Like all parenting books, assumes a female audience with a wink and a nod that is just insufferable.

This book is written and narrated very well. Chapter 6 and 7 were exactly what we needed to sleep train our twins and it worked like a charm, Thank you !
