Publisher's summary

From the New York Times #1 bestselling author Ilona Andrews comes a fun and action-packed new adventure in the Innkeeper Chronicles! We invite you to relax, enjoy yourself, and above all, remember the one rule all visitors must obey: the humans must never know.

Life is busier than ever for Innkeeper Dina DeMille and Sean Evans. But it’s about to get even more chaotic when Sean's werewolf mentor is kidnapped. To find him, they must host an intergalactic spouse-search for one of the most powerful rulers in the Galaxy. Dina is never one to back down from a challenge. That is, if she can manage her temperamental Red Cleaver chef; the consequences of her favorite Galactic ex-tyrant's dark history; the tangled politics of an interstellar nation; and oh, yes, keep the wedding candidates from a dozen alien species from killing each other. Not to mention the Costco lady.

They say love is a battlefield; but Dina and Sean are determined to limit the casualties!

redid my review- gave narrator 3 first review

I have listened to every book in the innkeeper Chronicles, each at least a dozen times. Absolutely love the series and both of the previous narrators.
My first listen of this book I almost stopped in the first 20 minutes. I forced myself to listen to the entire book because I really wanted to hear the story, however, I stopped several times, not really wanting to continue due to the narration. Unfortunately, this narrator did not listen to the previous books or have any direction given to her, because not only does she give certain characters different accents that were never present in any other volumes, she also pronounces a lot of things completely different than the other two narrators. Her style felt stilted and I had difficulty distinguishing some characters at times.

My opinion was that I hoped future Inkeeper Chronicles will be narrated by one of the first two narrators. The storyline is riveting, and I am really looking forward to the next installment.

I felt this was a good lesson to me in pushing through something different and uncomfortable, and keeping an open mind
Now, after a dozen listens, I still thoroughly love the story and now enjoy her narration and have gotten used to her style.

This book does not have any sex scenes or serious violence. My 10 year old son loves this one!

The characters and species are diverse and imaginative. I love the premise of this story and the kickstart to the path Dina and Sean are starting to follow to gain insight into what has happened to her parents and their Inn.

Fun series!

So, Nora Sofyan is not Renee Raudman (who is in a class by herself) but I think she did a good job. She clearly listened to previous books in the series and tried to bring some continuity to the characters. Most narrators who take over in a series don't bother. As for the chapter intros, the authors explained why they were there. I wouldn't want them in all the books but they didn't detract from the story. I still thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the next installment! Just please don't make it a full cast dramatization! Those ruin books by not allowing the reader to use their own imagination and they over dramatize like a movie.. Also, I listen to books when falling asleep and I want to relax. I'll take a single good narrator any day.

Juvenile British MC interruptions.

Please don't continue with this format !
Love you and have listened to everything you've written.
The British MC cheapens the listen.

Grab the audio! Nora Sofyan captures Dina's Heart!

Since I read the first part, in weekly segments, of Sweep of the Heart on Ilona Andrews blog, I actually debted about skipping the first half of the audiobook, boy am I glad I didn't do that. The book cleanes up well, it's definitely meant to to be read in a single chunk, and it makes me rethink about reading the blog segments again. There's actually a lot going on, and I had forgotten most of it! Plus Nora Sofyan is a fantastic voice performer. Capturing Dina's Heart! I hadn't expected the book to end in that particular spot! And now I need the Next book in the baddest way.

Here's a couple of quotes to titilate you:

"Sean called 'em space chickens."

"Their first option is murder, their second option is murder and if that fails they go straight to murder."

Wonderful!

This story is an awesome continuation of the Innkeeper series, developing characters and societies…so much fun!
The narrator, just WOW! She captured the nuances of the story and gave life to a huge variety of voices. WOW!!

Another fantastic installment in the series

Ilona Andrews never disapoints, and this was a thoroughly enjoyable addition to the Inkeeper series! The new narrator is good, although Gaston's accent was an odd choice. Overall a great listen!

Story

Love Ilona Andrews and all of their books and I really liked this one! I just didn't care for the recaps at the beginning of the chapters. I understand why they were doing it that way, but it just fave the book a different feel to me! They story itself is fantastic though!

I love this book (story) , didn't like the reader

I loved this book and the full series but this performance was not my favorite.
I didn't like the summary in each new chapter, and the voices were well not great.
also, I'm wondering is it the end? really... we still don't know what is happening to her parents and brother or I missed this part?

Chapter introduction

I love this series it is on the best series ever. I was so disappointed with the interruption of the chapter introduction. Please leave off future books, a distraction from the storyline itself.

Seeep of the Heart

Very long and hard to remember all the characters. I listened to parts twice to enjoy their full meaning and content. Narration was perfect and enjoyable. Humor was right on point. Action scenes were amazing and riveting. I look forward to the next book in this series.
