Such good romances and the novellas all felt like the perfect length.

This collection of novellas was such a treat. I truly enjoyed all three stories and felt like each was so complex and filling for being novellas in length. Nichole Van’s brought all those deep, heart-wrenching, angsty vibes that make me swoon and I love she went with a second chance romance. Heidi Kimball’s had me laughing at her hero’s antics and I just felt like it was such an adorable and romantic tale. I loved it so much. I also loved how Michelle Paige Holmes’s story had unexpected twists and such deep emotions. It was uplifting and sweet too. Overall, I loved this anthology and definitely recommend it. The narrator did a wonderful job with all the characters and the Scottish accents. It was easy to listen to and enjoyable.

Absolutely Enjoyable

All three stories were written and told so well. Great narration. Although the stories were different the theme of each book stayed in the same vein and the mix of misunderstanding, heroism and redemption was perfect.

Lovely romance

Sometimes I love novellas, and sometimes I feel like there wasn’t enough time to tell a compelling story. A couple of my favorite authors wrote stories for this anthology and I loved each story! I was also happy to be introduced to a new to me author.

Nichole van surprised me with how many emotions she could pack into a shorter story. You can tell a lot by an author with what they can do with a small amount of words. Nichole did not disappoint as she weaved a story of longing, regret, remorse, hope, and enduring love. Absolutely loved this heartbreakingly beautiful second chance romance!

Heidi Kimball wrote a beautifully coming of age story full of humor and character growth. I loved how she made me smile, while also making me cheer the main character on. A good sense of humor can lift some of the darkest days and I enjoyed this heartfelt romantic comedy. I loved these two characters!

Michelle Paige Holmes is a new to me author and I was captivated by the story she wrote. I love a forced proximity story. Mixing that with two injured souls who want to be seen for who they are inside, made this story a page turner for me. I loved watching these two characters heal from the harsh realities of life, by caring and seeking to understand one another.

I listened to the audiobook version and I felt the narrator was well chosen for the characters. It was an easy listen that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish.

Wonderful collection!

I was very impressed with each of these novellas and was surprised by how invested I was in each story and how much they made me feel.

Nichole Van’s Remnants of Love was a second chance done beautifully that addresses heavy subjects in a mindful way. A lot happens in such a short story and you could feel the longing and love that had remained with them through the years. It was so good!

Heidi Kimball’s Of Kilts and Courtship was very funny with so much and teasing and playful banter. Gavin Mckenzie is such a delight and I LOVED listening to his Scottish accent and the way he leaned into the things in his culture that others scoffed at was highly entertaining. The romance was spot on and amazing!

Michele Holmes’ Into the Light had me super intrigued and hooked from the beginning and kept me invested throughout the story. The plot is unique and heartfelt as a wounded warrior is navigating some new disabilities. The story flowed nicely and was one I will remember for a long time!

The narrator did wonderful Scottish accents for the appropriate dialogue that helped me feel immersed in the stories.

Three great stories!

Three great stories by three great authors, set in the highlands of Scotland. Great stories full of interesting characters and beautiful scenery. I laughed, cried and was very angry and frustrated at times. They have all the feels and entertainment of good stories without any of the explicit sex you find in many Regency stories. Well done ladies!
